Good service here. Really enjoyed the pasta dish. Place had good ambience. Came as part of a large group and they attended to every need- which can sometimes be hard with large groups! Really enjoyed their patio setting.

Beautiful place, average food, snooty service, and much too expensive for what you get. Very typical of Distillery District businesses.

Attended a business meeting (all day) and the facility catered lunch/dinner for the participants. Both meals were a buffet style and were quite good. I hope to stop in again and sample their everyday fair on offer.

We stopped here for a quick lunch while visiting the distillery district. When we arrived they told us we had to be out by a certain time, as they were setting up for a wedding. The service was so slow we wound up spending most of our afternoon just waiting for our food. The food was okay, not enough for... More

A long narrow setting. Always busy. Good varied menu. Mussels & burgers are excellent selections. Stick to wine or beer, cocktails need some work. The kitchen a little slow but with the volume they see not a surprise. Kid friendly. Very popular restaurant in the Distillery District. Front table near window is drafty. Bar seating available too.

Often booked with large business groups or Xmas parties, so can be crowded. Love the decor and bar, super cool. Been a few times food ranges from good to great, would recommend but check ahead to avoid being stuffed into a corner due to large booked groups

Had occasion to visit the Boiler House Loft for a friend's wedding recently. Food was terrific, service amazing, venue gorgeous. Accessibility, lacking. We had to navigate the chaotic Christmas Market & the entrance to the venue was invisible. This restaurant has everything going for it, except the obvious. We ended up wandering endlessly through the crowds, getting wet in our... More

Tables too small - tiny round tables. We had 6 people and had to put two together like a figure8. Food was expensive but good. The restaurant was so noisy that we couldn't hear each other talking. We decided not to have dessert but go elsewhere. After paying the cashier and leaving a generous tip the head waiter ran after... More

Went here after a recommendation from a family friend. Went with Canadian Family members, The restaurant was very busy but the service was still good, All food came out hot, the portion sizes are some of the biggest I have ever seen. Very very tasty food at a very reasonable price. I will visit this restaurant again on my next... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
