Portions are WAY too small and completely overpriced. Our $9 mango salad consisted of a handful of lettuce leaves tossed with a quarter of a mango julienned. Seriously. Flavour was good but NOT worth the price... Go to Pai or Sukhothai instead. Better service, better food and generous portions. You will not be disappointed.

The last time in Toronto my husband and I walked for miles to a recommended Thai restaurant. This time we found one out our hotel door! Food was excellent...I never know what to order but our server helped and his choice was perfect. Restaurant was clean, service was good and not too quick. This was our cheapest meal during our... I only had 45mins to eat before having to go to airport, so I asked at entry if this could work (the restaurant was about half full): they told me yes, and they certainly delivered! I chose a seafood Pad Thai. It was ready in 10 mins, and it was also one of the tastiest ones I ever had. So... More

I visited Thai Princess last week with some colleagues. I had a Pad Thai Curry dish that was less than mediocre. The server brought out dishes for all but one of our party. We waited for about 10 minutes and then finally had to walk back to the kitchen to get the attention of a server to tell them to... More

I was staying at the Hyatt Regency for business. TP was close in proximity. Thai Princess is pretty average. I usually try the Panang curry with beef. TP's version was good. Just don't come with your expectations too high.

Went to the Thai Princess with family ans two members love it there. Well, my rice came out of the bag with a giant black hair in it. We called attention to the staff and they replaced it...fine...I've worked in service industry for years prior to my career so the standard is, you remove it from the bill or comp... More

The food is good. The service is slow and confusing, in the terms that your plate from the appetizer is not removed before your main dish is served. Lack of detail and understanding of basic service. Go for the food! :-)

We ate here last night as it was round the corner from our hotel and we had read the reviews on here before hand, my wife had satay chicken starter that had no taste, I had spring roll that tasted oily, for our main dish I had green curry that was ok, my wife had the cashew chicken that had... Would not go out of my way to eat here again. The food was not bad but it definitely was not memorable.

When I go out for thai, I mostly get pad thai. This time I decided to try something different so I ordered coconut green curry. Other members ordered pad thai which is often safe bet. The restaurant is pretty full for lunch hour on work days. The food came timely and hot, smelling delicious. The dish was light not too... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
