Terroni consistently greats good Traditional Italian food. Simple pasta, Italian thin crust pizza. I particularly like their grilled calamari, some of the best in Toronto, not too chewy and served with sliced tomatoes and a little balsamic vinegar. A few things to note, they are militant about changes and substitutions and only Italian wine. If you are okay with that... More

The three of us decided to go out for lunch for a special birthday celebration. We didn't tell the restaurant that it was for a special occasion but we were pleasantly surprised that our experience there was special. The wait staff was very courteous, efficient and friendly. The food excellent. It was served in a timely fashion. We sat upstairs... More

Terroni's food has been clean and good for decades now. We've been here many many times and never had to complain about the food. Make a reservation. Often times you can reserve the same day and save having to wait for seating.

We were part of a larger group (12) so we got to see lots of differnet selections that came to our table. The seafood spaghetti that I had was good - mussels on the side were nice but a bit more seafood would have been nice (and our PEI rep thought the seafood slightly overcooked. The pappardelle with a spicy... More

I have been many times before and will never go back. Absolutely nothing special about the place. Our salad was fine. We ordered the salmon and marscapone pizza - it was dry with very little marscapone and very little salmon. We asked for something to add flavour to it and she brought us some hot peppers and olive oil -... More

Great food, original, lots of flavour, good service but too crowded. A few tables less would serve them good. Waiters were kicking and bumping in my chair for the entire evening. Still recommande it.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
