I had a cozy dinner with my friend here recently. Make reservation early on as the place is crowded and it's unlikely that you get a table without booking. Have cash handy as there is valet parking and coat service. Double think the coconut cream pie :). We ordered it because it seemed to be the most famous item on... More

I booked a table for two for my partner's birthday. After delicious appetizers of oysters and grilled octopus and a shared entree of halibut and roast vegetables, we ordered the lightest coconut cream pie in phyllo dough. It was decorated with a personalized birthday wish for the birthday celebrant. Very thoughtful! Highly recommended!

This is our favourite place for holiday dinners or special events. The food never disappoints and the view of the city is exceptional.

We had not been to Scaramouche in over 10 years. We had dinner in the main dining area last week. The food and service was outstanding. It is full value for the price. If you are looking for a spot for a special occasion you all not be disappointed.

I visited this restaurant with my coworkers for a staff Christmas dinner last year. We ordered a ton of apps, drinks, and entrees. Everything was so warm, filling and delicious. The staff was very attentive and helpful. I would love to visit Scaramouche on a date night. It's a very versatile restaurant.

Every course is skillfully prepared and tasty. Small portions but irresistibly good. We tried all the desserts on the menu and they are not to be missed. The restaurant is cosy with excellent service .

My top toronto restaurant for a very special occasion - my son's calling to the bar; a Christmas treat with a girlfriend; taking older friends to celebrate their wedding (because they sure didn't need a toaster in their 70s😊) At,osphere, view (if you score the window), service, food -- all excellent

Description
Scaramouche has long been celebrated by customers and critics for its unwavering commitment to making each dining experience a memorable one. Chef/owner Keith Froggett's sophisticated cuisine is presented simply with care and attention to detail. The service underscores that philosophy: unobtrusive and respectful. The restaurant affords a stunning nighttime vista of the downtown Toronto skyline. These components and more make Scaramouche the singular destination it is. And the reason that the restaurant is consistently ranked as one of the city's best for more than three decades.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
