I'm dreaming about their Siam Noodles as I type. This dish is beyond words. Noodle dish (I choose chicken usually) topped with a peanut sauce. The sauce is to die for. Big portion, cheap price and full of flavour.

I've been here before. The decor is really nice. Not a great place for a romantic or quiet meal. The seating is more Asian/communal style, strangers will seat right next to you, elbow to elbow so it's not a place to have a nice quiet private Conversation. All that aside, the service is good and the prices are reasonable. I... More

Pretty good spot for thai food. Very affordable. Portions are generous. I had the panang shrimp curry and it was good.

Just go here! I grow Naga Vipers, Carolina Reapers, and more, down in Florida. I know spicy. When I heard this was a place known for lots of spiciness, and great Thai, I had to try it. Certainly lived up to the hype. I was expecting a whole in the wall, dirty little place where joint smoking Ryerson kids hang... More

My title says it all. We live Thai food and have tried all of them in Toronto and Salad King is simply the most authentic. It is very busy and very casual.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
