I ordered the Chicken Islamic Noodles that isn't on the menu but a friend told me about it. Great flavor. I get 10/20 chilis which is spicy. The level of chilis can vary when I order 10 sometimes it's like a 5 and others a 15 so take that into consideration. Service is fast and food is always fresh and... More

This is a Thai/Vietnamese noodle house and do let the name fool you. Had dinner there and i suggest you try the Islamic noodles. There are not on the menu so you have to just ask for them. Best noodle dish I have ever had. The mango salad was also also an interesting pallet delight.

If you love Thai curries, great price and quick service, look no further than Salad King! I love the Penang Curry with extra spice! They make a very cool pyramid out of the accompanying rice! Great with some Thai Singha Beer! The price is very affordable, service quick, and the food absolutely delicious. This place gets very congested around lunch... More

My friends took me to this Thai place and I quite enjoyed it. Their mango salad was very refreshing, perfect for a hot summer's day. Really enjoyed the fried shrimp and spicy chicken. Prices are decent, and food feels fresh and wholesome. Will go again for sure.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
