When shopping in the Eaton Centre, there is an unexpected gem in the Food Court area. The collection of small restaurants that comprise Richtree Natural Market Restaurants is a delightful surprise amid the usual rash of fast food outlets predictably found in a food court in a shopping mall. The Queen Street Deli, which is one of the stations in... More

I always love the Richtree as they have so many different stations to purchase from. So if I want soup and my kids want pizza and my wife wants a bagal, we can get what we want and sit at the same table. This particular one was very clean and had a huge variety of fresh baked goods, hot dishes... More

The hotel where I stayed in Toronto was 5 blocks from the Eaton Centre, just steps away from the Nathan Phillips Square and City Hall. Hungry from a one hour and 20 minute bus ride from Niagara, I walked to the Eaton Centre to scout for an affordable place to get a meal. From the Younge street entrance, I went... More

We choose Ramen, and had their delicious rice bowls. We could have lived without the seaweed but the dish was good.

This restaurant was once a favorite of ours when it was Movenpick Marche.. We often invited our out-town friends to join us here. Not anymore. After Movenpick moved on, it became Richtree. The quality declined in favor of mostly Asian fare. Now the name "Richtree" is gone even though it is included in the photo here. That name has been abandoned... More

You can get anything you want at Richtree restaurants ......... I had the burrito and it was pretty good. This is a good place to get quick food and the choices are endless. Decent food at a decent price. Not too shabby!!!

They have several different stations to choose from. There are some GF treats as well - so look around. Service was very good - tables weren't kept clean which was disappointing.

This particular location, which was actually very convenient, has since closed. It is very sad to see some places close, although I guess there must have been a need for change.

This Richtree location was wonderful. Food was made to order and staff were always friendly and pleasant. Alice always worked efficiently and quickly at the egg station during the morning rush and was delightful to talk to, as was Edita. It's a shame that this location is now closed.

This is a good place to take a break whilst shopping. The hot chocolates and muffins were great on a cold day but they do a wide range of snacks and drinks. Great place to meet a friend.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
