When I first saw the portion I wasn't taken aback. But the truth is, the portions were just perfect! The food is not the stuff your face variety. Rather it's the kind that you enjoy the flavour with each bite. The pasta is made by the company as in its not grocery store dry pasta. This is fresh pasta made... More

This place is amazing for a romantic dinner out. We ordered the cabrese salad and the tiger shrimp for appetizers, for dinner I have the clam pasta, it was wonderful. We will go back for sure.

A lucky find when researching for a place to dine with friends in Bloor West Village. This intimate restaurant with both outdoor and indoor seatings was quite busy with many diners even at 5:30pm on a Sunday. We ordered the Rose Mussels (CAD$15), Penne Puttanesca (CAD$22), Pollo Flatbread Pizza (CAD$15) & Carrot Cake (CAD$6.95). The portions were good and the... More

I was there last night (4 people) and the portion of ravioli i received was so small.. i left so hungry after and had to ask for a second round of bread and was still hungry after dipping the bread in my sauce. My fiances pizza was also a tinny portion on a little appetizer plate tasted like low end... More

Some friends brought my husband and I here for dinner and the food was fantastic! I had the caprese salad and shared the mozzarella ball and both were really good. Ordered the penne a la vodka and it was absolutely incredible !! It was one of those meals where you overstuff yourself because you don't want it to end! Attentive... More

I was there to celebrate my birthday with a friend. For our starter we shared a generous portion of Calamari & Tiger Shrimp Grilled & Served with a Mixed-Greens Salad, Garlic Toast. This was a yummy salad. Then we ordered Black & White Fettuccine Grilled Tiger Shrimp, Black Olives, Fresh Tomato, Garlic, Tossed in Olive Oil, Finished with Asiago Cheese.... More

My family of 5 with 2 granparents went for lunch on a Sunday afternoon in May 2016 and found the restaurant to have a party upstairs and half of the first floor was busy with us included. The waitress who served us was very kind and informative and professional. The atmosphere was quaint but a little tight for seating. Although... More

Excellent Italian restaurant. Located on Bloor West Village, near Runnymede Subway station. They offer good pastas and salads, with a nice cost / benefit. I recommend the Sweet Potato Gnocchi (CAD 18)

Queens pasta was recommended by my hotel staff. We were looking for seafood of some type, and this was perfect! The fettuccine with lobster, scallops and shrimp was simply delicious! Wait staff were very good, and the seating and decor were great as well. Wonderful experience, will return when back in the area!

Staying in West End

Neighborhood Profile
West End
The go-to area for new business start-ups, the spry and creative persona of the West End thrives along its streets. Its independent boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops offer brands that can't be found elsewhere. Buildings with ground floor consumer spaces sport up-top artist's lofts, and the West End attracts artists, designers, and fashion industry professionals to its living quarters. It is in the cross-hairs of gentrification, but still resisting it with ironic relish. Hot deals can still be found here on furniture and knick-knacks,. Its call to culinary glory is in its well-priced homemade Polish food, hosting Toronto's go-to spots for hot pierogis and cold borscht. High Park, the largest green space in the city, is a place for dreamers and poets to wander and rest, not to mention a number of energetic actors staging outdoor plays in the summertime.
