Chinatown Favorite

One of our standard places to stop for a meal out when in Chinatown. Stick to pho or curry and have always been happy. Never tried a large serving - would be too much for one person

Off day in the kitchen? We're regular pho worshippers, and always enjoy Pho Hung to start off our Toronto expat holiday, but this time I feel the need to dock some stars for the pho gah: watery tasting broth with I suspect due to a clingy aftertaste msg, and really fatty chicken slivers. Sorry guys, now too popular that corners... More

Pho Hung is a simple unpretentious Vietnamese eatery serving a wide range of dishes. I come here almost every week and get the large special pho and two fresh shrimp rolls. The dishes aren't exceptional but taste above the average you'd expect from a Vietnamese restaurant in Toronto. Ordering is simple: all you need to do is write down the... More

Excellent food and quick service. We ordered the Pho Ga and it was huge! Great portions for the price. The wait staff isn't spectacular, but the food is fresh and delicious!

Really good fresh Vietnamese on a budget. Super cheap for a really nice bowl of Pho. Really good choice on Spadina.

I had a Pho with the rare beef. Was good but had already better one's with richer flavour and freshness. My friend had the Pho with tomato and rate beef. Here the broth was really nice. We also tried the cold summer rolls with prawns and the one's with shredded pork. They were ok. I found that it was too... More

I only come to this restaurant for two things. The house beef noodles and their spring rolls. Fried or fresh wrapped. Can't get any better for a bowl of Vietnamese clear sweet beef broth.

This place is always busy but so quick and there's always room to sit. The staff are amazing and the food is authentic and even better. I spent 2.5 months in Vietnam and it is so reminiscent. I love this restaurant and everyone should go at least once

The food was good and served quickly. The customer service wasn't amazing but it's to be expected as they are constantly super busy. Would definitely come back.

The atmosphere is fun and lively (not white linen though, this place might be challenging if you carry hand sanitizer around with you). The service is fast (some might say abrupt). The prices are cheap (huge volumes per serving so don't over order). The taste, freshness and quality for the price is exceptional. I suspect that the turnover of tables... More
