Super conveniently located in downtown Victoria. I took my grandbabes and son in celebration of group birthdays. It was fabulous with staff bringing lovely dessert with sparklers and gathering with all staff to sing happy birthday to us ! The food was most affordable and fabulous and menu will satisfy even the fussiest. Childrens menu as well. We really enjoyed... More

We caught up with an old friend from Brisbane who we hadn't seen each other for over 40 years. The restaurant was very friendly and heaps of choice on the menu.

Brought my family (including 2 small kids) for dinner. Everyone enjoy their experiences. The decor is unique - it has a streetcar, carousel, telephone booths etc - which enhances the kids' experiences at the restaurant. Most of the food is pretty good - though the meat sauce spaghetti is a bit watery. Also, the coffee/cappuccino does not have any coffee... More

If you like pasta, and lots of it, this place is good. If you also like carnival paraphernalia then you'll love it. Prices are reasonable.

I have been going here since I was young and I must say, it never fails to amuse me. I love everything about this place! My husband and I have gone for Romantic meals and we have brought the kids as well. It is amazing every time and for every occasion. Nostalgia gets my vote every time!

A cool place for the kids with lots of old-fashioned decor including carousel horses suspended from the ceiling. A simple spaghetti meal (there are many other entrees available) comes with soup or salad (no tomato, not even a slice), coffee or tea, and three choices of ice-cream for dessert. The spumoni ice-cream is excellent - very creamy. You also get... More

Hey, Neil! I'm thrilled you and the family came in for a memorable dinner. The Spumoni ice cream was an excellent choice, though I hope we can have you back in to try the others. All the best, Graham, GM More

Large portions, pasta was OK but not more. The restaurant is in a beautiful setting. Service was good.

While I'm delighted you enjoyed the atmosphere, Oren, I'm sorry you weren't as impressed by the pasta. We want your meal to be far from average, but it sounds like what you tried didn't quite hit the spot. We'd be more than happy to point you toward some of our favourites so we can find something you'll really love the... More

I first came here back in the late 70s as a kid, and have gone back off and on over the years. Lots of good food for your money for sure, great sourdough bread that comes with your pasta, and superb customer service- very attentive servers. Can't go wrong for families or large groups - energized atmosphere. It's not Little... More

We stayed in the Novotel which is right opposite this restaurant. It's really quirky inside with loads of old things inside like a merry go Round and tram etc. It's a big restaurant. The service is really good. The beer is great I loved the Engineers IPA. There are also a good range of cocktails which my wife loved. The... More

A meal at The Old Spaghetti Factory is an experience. We invest meticulous attention to our decor so our guests feel as though they're stepping into another world. Every location is adorned with antique lighting, intricate stained glass displays and an old-fashioned trolley car that doubles as a dining hall. Nearly every item on The Old Spaghetti Factory's menu is made on-site, from scratch, using fresh ingredients. Unlike most restaurants, when you order our entrees, we serve you a complete meal, which includes bread, soup or salad, and dessert. And with our famous kid's menu, special treats and fun activities, we encourage families to feel at home in our restaurants. The Old Spaghetti Factory is still family owned and operated and we welcome your family to join ours for a memorable dining experience.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
