Very atmospheric interior, with natural light coming through a couple of glass domes inserted into the ceiling. So the fact that this restaurant does not have any windows should not put you off! When you enter the restaurant you immediately grasp the history of the place and having enjoyed a great meal with my family and friends here recently, I... More

This is such a neat piece of Toronto history! For 15 dollars a person you can have a nice spaghetti dinner with salad, bread, ice cream and coffee. Pretty great deal really. Lots of neat decor, if you are into history you'll love this place! Great staff, good food and prices and great service. The added bonus is all of... More

In spite of having to wait a little to be served our meals were very good. Pleasant seating outside when the weather is agreeable.

Whenever my cousins visit Toronto they only want to go to their traditional favourite Italian food restaurant The Old Spaghetti Factory! We all lookforward dining there at least 2-4 times every year since the 1970's when we were young teenagers! Excellent value, and the service is on the dot expeditiously perfect!

We had the last meal of our honeymoon here before setting off to the airport and flying home. The food was excellent, the service was great and the prices were very reasonable! Our only criticism is that almost all the food turned up at once so only a few bites into my starter and out came the sides and main... More

The decor looks like a circus train ran into Disneys Haunted Mansion ( I say this with love). There are wooden horses from a merry go round, a full size railway caboose ,stain glass windows and light fixtures everywhere. Some of the booths are made from antique head and foot boards .The meals include soup or salad ,tea or coffee and... Visited after attending a Jays game with 13 family members and they were quite accommodating for our group. Fun atmosphere and the servers were very good at their job. Drinks promptly refilled and always making sure we had what we needed. Most of our group was happy with the quality of food but I personally ordered the lasagna and would... More

Visited as we were staying at the Novotel directly opposite. Place is probably more attractive to families and large groups, but as a couple we certainly didn't feel out of place. Visited on a Monday when their beer was on special. Menu is quite large, mainly pasta based etc. The price of your main includes bread, a soup starter and... More

Description
A meal at The Old Spaghetti Factory is an experience. We invest meticulous attention to our decor so our guests feel as though they're stepping into another world. Every location is adorned with antique lighting, intricate stained glass displays and an old-fashioned trolley car that doubles as a dining hall. Nearly every item on The Old Spaghetti Factory's menu is made on-site, from scratch, using fresh ingredients. Unlike most restaurants, when you order our entrees, we serve you a complete meal, which includes bread, soup or salad, and dessert. And with our famous kid's menu, special treats and fun activities, we encourage families to feel at home in our restaurants. The Old Spaghetti Factory is still family owned and operated and we welcome your family to join ours for a memorable dining experience.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
