We have been going tot this restaurant for two generations. We travel over an hour for our almost monthly pilgrimage to this spot. Its a special place for our family and it helps that the food is absolutely mouth watering! We can't wait for the garlic butter and hot bread. The Spaghetti with Mizithra cheese is a must and we... Went twice on a three day visit to TO. One supper and one lunch, service was excellent both times. Bread with garlic butter, salad, Spaghetti Bolognese (with freshly grated Parmesan Cheese) ice-cream and coffee or tea for $14.00!!

Not high end Italian by any means, but perfect for meal with young kids who could be finicky. Food is not remarkable, but solid and filling. Definitely a spot to re-experience the comfort foods of your childhood....

We went with our 12 year old daughter and met another couple. They had a table for 4 ready although the reservation was for 5 (we had the email confirmation) but they sat is within 5 minutes. The atmosphere was terrific and the restaurant was just fun to look at with a carousel and a train car within it. Unique... More

We had dinner there a couple of weeks ago. Our server was lousy and totally unaccommodating. One of us requested a spaghetti dish without garlic, the answer was that the ingredients for all their food consists of garlic cause "after all it is an Italian restaurant". When we suggested that the spaghetti with clam sauce dish can be tossed with... More

Smells bad, bad service, average pricing, all food arrived cold like it had been sitting for hours which made sense because it took over an hour to arrive. Do not give this place business, lots of other restaurants who are 500x better for the same money everywhere downtown. God Awful plague on humanity

My experience here was incredible. This restaurant has such a unique décor, it is very appealing and the vibe is so friendly. The staff at this restaurant are very knowledgeable and helpful of restaurant choices, and not to forget, super friendly. I love my pasta and I had the Spaghetti with Browned Butter And Mizithra Cheese. Let me tell you,... More

The staff are helpful and very attentive. The food is very tasty and incredible value. There is a real trolley bus in there, carousel and car. The decor is amazing. Great menu with an inclusive price on a three course meal with coffee/tea. Very good value. Speciality nights throughout the week like cocktails from $4.99 on a Tuesday. Highly recommended.

Visited here with parents and my sister purely because we were staying in the hotel across the road, hoping for some basic pasta. Couldn't have been further from the truth! Had a thirty minute wait for a table but were given a buzzer, so had a drink in their old European style pub while we waited. When we got to... More

It was truly a treat to hear we earned your recommendation, Vickiie! It sounds like Adam was able to point you toward some delicious drinks and dishes, and I'll be sure to pass your kind words along to him. I'm thrilled you were such a fan of the lobster ravioli, too -- it's one of our favourites as well. Thank... More

A meal at The Old Spaghetti Factory is an experience. We invest meticulous attention to our decor so our guests feel as though they're stepping into another world. Every location is adorned with antique lighting, intricate stained glass displays and an old-fashioned trolley car that doubles as a dining hall. Nearly every item on The Old Spaghetti Factory's menu is made on-site, from scratch, using fresh ingredients. Unlike most restaurants, when you order our entrees, we serve you a complete meal, which includes bread, soup or salad, and dessert. And with our famous kid's menu, special treats and fun activities, we encourage families to feel at home in our restaurants. The Old Spaghetti Factory is still family owned and operated and we welcome your family to join ours for a memorable dining experience.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
