The food is good and authentic - everything was tasty. Service was very good and professional. My friends think this is the best Chinese in Chinatown! They had Seafood Congee they loved it. Chicken fried rice with big chunks of chicken. Crispy Beef and Vegetables with cashews - everything was served piping hot. Lots of locals eat here - busy... More

No smile, they don't use please nor thank you. Waiters gives you attitude like they hated working there. No service is better than poor service with rude attitude. Food quality: This is not the place for authentic Chinese food...heavy MSG, die of thirst after eating here. Please save yourself and go elsewhere.

One of my go to Chinese restaurant. Crab rice is a must. Just make sure you have at least four people to share that dish. It's huge in portion. The imperial mushroom and pea shoot is good. So is the preserve vege with pork belly. The fried salt and pepper soft shell crab is yummy as well. Try the black... More

We arrived at this restaurant on the Canadian Thanksgiving. It was packed with families. We ordered all kinds of food to share. I had the wonton soup to start and it was fabulous. We ordered the crab rice and a beef dish to share. They were excellent. We also had an order of dumplings. They were very fine as well.... More

This restaurant has been a consistent performer for our family for many years. Food as well done and flavourful. Service slightly better than you might expect. Can be very busy which may require waiting patiently for it arrival.

As we ate our delicious General Tao chicken, we watched a server serve beer after last call. Being in the service industry, we were all enjoying the dinner theatre as we dined. The server continued to bring beer to an OBVIOUSLY heavily intoxicated pair of men. Eventually a fight started in the restaurant, tables flipped and plates broken. One man... More

New Sky Garden Restaurant is very popular with the local chinese community. As they say, when you travel, if you see the locals frequenting an establishment, that is where you eat. They have an excellent lunch menu which consists of soup, springroll and your entre. Currently the price is just over $7.00 and an excellent value. Word of advice, get... More

The best place for seafood on Spadina - wonderful whole fish, and an excellent menu overall. It's a bit of a walk for us, or we'd probably get there more often.

We came here with our family last weekend for a late afternoon lunch. We ordered quite a few dishes, including the chicken egg corn soup, chicken and shrimp fried rice, chicken balls, vegetables, and other things of the sort. The food was really good and really freshly made, and we all left really full and happy. The only thing is... More
