I visited this location last month with my friend for lunch. The staff were kind and helpful. I had the crepe filled with bacon, apples and cheese, it was delicious and filling. I ordered a nice latte afterwards. I would recommend this place to any crepe lover. :)

My daughter and I went here for dinner last weekend. I got a half price deal through Travel Zoo that was amazing it included an appetizer to share, a soup or salad, two entrees and two desserts oh and I almost forgot either two martinis or two glasses of house wine!! Wow, loved everything about Papillon. The decor / mood is soft & inviting, the service is quick, friendly and courteous, the food is delicious and they have a very good wine list. Prices are also very reasonable for somewhere to dine for something special. Hope its still here on our next visit to Toronto

We dined here with 18 of our family members and I have to say that the service was extreamly quick and the staff were very kind. Two notable things, I had the scallops for an appetizer and steak for my main, the steak was cooked perfect and not over seasoned. My wife however had what I'm going to call the... More

Happened to stop back in after going here many times 20 - 25 years ago. More of a nostalgic visit - food was good but I always seemed to remember better years ago (but food memories are fairly useless). Our service was good.

It must have been at least 25 years since we last went to Le Papillon. It used to be one of our favourite spots but somehow we just didn`t get back for a long time. Well it was our anniversary and we got tickets to the Blue Jay game and decided to go back to this lovely French restauant. First... More

We tried Le Papillion for Summerlicious. And although the food was excellent, the service left a lot to be desired. The waiter was rude, barely spoke to us, didn't refill our water glass, until we asked, and then spilled the water on the table without apology. I can't even remember what I ate, unfortunately, as it was very tasty, but... More

Hi there, I'm very sorry your visit came up short of our expectations. I can assure you that service is something we take great pride in here so this review was especially troubling to me. I can assure you this must have been a one off as I am very happy with the staff I have here. Regardless, I would... More

Had dinner 2 days ago . One of those really hot summer days we where looking for a nice patio and we picked this restaurant. They offered a prix fixe dinner menu because of the summerlicious event but we had our selection instead . Very nice environment and excellent service .

Description
Le Papillon on Front is located in the heart of Old Town Toronto. Inside of a beautiful Old Town Toronto building with exposed brick walls and high lofty ceilings sits the beautiful venue for Le Papillon on Front. It's exposed brick is complemented well by the aged hardwood floor and perfectly soft lighting. The venue suggests a lovely mix of romance, comfort, and of course, the classic French bistro atmosphere that has followed Le Papillon to all of its locations. In the warmer months Le Papillon on Front even creeps its way onto Front street, giving a beautiful view of the Flatiron building as well as the CN tower in the distance. With a closed in patio adorned with wonderfully arranged planters you experience a private feel, even while sitting on the heart of Front Street.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
