Ate here while visiting the downtown. Our waiter was very helpful and funny. We enjoyed a couple of the wood fired pizza and some drinks. We left happy with the food and service.

Our food was ok but the waitress was almost rude. All she wanted to do was rush us in and couldn't get us out fast enough! Some of us were still eating our entree and she had already cleaned off the table. After spending almost $800 I was most disappointed. The bathrooms were so dirty and the place smelled like... More

We arrived for lunch and the place was very full. We were seated promptly and received attentive friendly service. The room was nice. We had the Roma Piccolo, fresh and tasty. We had pasta and pizza. We liked the sauces. It was very good for a change. Had a delicious cappuccino. Check it out before a show.

We were a little disappointed by the pizza but everyone has their own idea of what good pizza is. They have a wood fired oven and we were expecting it to be more like Roman or Neapolitan pizza but they put too much stuff on top which over powered it. Good service and a nice atmosphere. We made a mistake... More

I confess that I have little knowlege of the intracacies of Itallian cooking---but with a love affair of nearly 60 years with pizza, I believe I've gained some wisdom. It's always part of any visit I take in downtown Toronto.

Italian classics like chicken Parmesan, pasta of all kinds, tiramisu, etc. Nothing unexpected here but all good. There was a prix fixe menu when I ate there - reminded me of Europe.

Recommend the pizza with spicy Italian salami and nice homemade pappardelle with Italian sausage. The service was super. Better than in many much pricier restaurants !

Thank pchrist0

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
