We've been craving pasta and headed to Il Fornello. We started with a Caesar salad - it was fresh with crunchy garlic croutons. We had different pasta dishes. One with chicken & pasto, one with seafood and both were cooked perfectly and delicious. Our little one had pasta with meat sauce and loved every bite. We had a chocolate lava... More

In the Bayview Village shopping mall. Large comfortable venue offering seating inside and a few tables in the mall. Lots of salad, pizza and other food choices. Funghi salad was excellent, pizza was very tasty but the thin crust was mostly soggy. Very good service. Recommended overall.

Il Fornello is located inside the Bayview shopping center, surrounded by several other restaurants and cafes. It was recently remodeled, so now it has a modern, clean and stylish appearance. Seating is comfortable and the service is prompt, albeit unsophisticated and somewhat curt. The open kitchen concept increases the background noise, but surprisingly little kitchen small wafts through the air.... More

In Bayview Village, this is your best bet for a filling dinner. Try the octopus, white mushroom pizza and desserts. I wouldn't recommend their brunch, but for lunch or dinner, it's a safe bet. I've been numerous times and while it can be pricey (with wine) for a mid-range restaurant, it's usually tasty.

The service was great. The food was all very decent but also didn't stand out as anything great that you wouldn't find elsewhere.

The funghi salad with goat cheese was incredibly delicious. My friend had a salad with the cutest, tiniest most delicious red peppers in it and she thought it was extremely good. We had a wonderful waiter - I don't know his name, but he was from Bulgaria. I just wish I could get the recipe for the salad dressing. I... More
