A New Zealand pub in the heart of Yorkville, with a great rooftop patio. The menu is diverse with a few NZ-inspired choices. It's a good place for lunch or drinks after work.

Had lunch with friends before a visit to the ROM(just a few minutes north of the ROM). Located in Yorkville and would miss it unless you google it before the visit. They have a small street level covered patio which is quite dark on a dull day but nice to eat outside. They also have a rooftop patio upstairs. The... More

Had lunch with friends at Hemingway's and found it to be an excellent place to kick back, have some drinks and eat. Had jerk chicken burrito, which I definitely recommend. My friends had chicken wings and a burger which they both loved. Lots of choices on the menu, means something for everyone. The bar menu covered many types of beers... More

This is a fun place, with a definite sports bar theme that is fine for catching up with friends but not a destination if the focus is more on the food.

We stopped here after visiting the ROM. The service was slow, inattentive and food bad. When we spoke to management, they just made excuses instead of taking responsibility for staff mistakes. The bathrooms were dirty and not working. They have a nice bar and patio for drinking. However, don't waste your time or money on the food.

Came here twice on our vacation in Toronto. Great food. Chill atmosphere. Overall good value and sitting outside on the rooftop is where its at! Service and food was great. Will certainly come back again next time!

Conveniently located in Yorkville, Hemingway's has been known for the locals. Place has multiple floors, casual setting nothing fancy. I always thought it would offer the typical bar food, but it actually has great selection of food, and they are all pretty tasty. Not to mention the Patio they have which attracts many guests in the summer time.

Staying in Yorkville so went to Hemingways for a beer and something to eat. It was a sweltering evening so sat out on patio. Choice of beer ok but not extensive. Burger and fries were good. Service was friendly and efficient. Good place to go if you're looking for a relaxed evening out.

Great spot to grab a beer, chill alone or meet a friend, have a casual lunch, catch up on the CP24 news ticker, or have after work gatherings. The staff are all very friendly and attentive, with Connor being a particular star! My only feedback to the management is that the cutlery and dishes are a bit 'tattered' and look... More

This is a short walk from the Park Hyatt Hotel, and the food, atmosphere, and service are excellent. The restaurant is larger than it looks with full balconies, and a large indoor eating and drinking area. The pub food is delicious and filling, and the pitchers of sangria are great for a hot summer day. This is just the spot... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
