It was our first time at Hard Rock Toronto and when we got there we asked for a booth (not knowing that booths here were large and there weren't that many). The girl said there would be a 10-15 minute wait, we said that was fine and moved off to the side to wait. About 10 minutes later a guy... More

The Hard Rock still ranks as a favorite Yonge Street haunt. Consistent food (I love the burgers), great beer and drinks and a friendly staff, this place rocks. Music paraphernalia is a tradition and I have been here many times over the years. Get there while you can, its slated to close due to high rent.

While downtown, we had dinner as the Hard Rock Café (right across from Dundas Square). The hostess asked if we had been there before, I advised I had, but my friend hadn't. He welcomed us and stopped to point out where the restrooms were (nice touch). We ordered the beer battered fish & chips and the salmon. The fish (in... More

I have never been to a Hard Rock Cafe, but it was a really fun experience. The server was very nice and helpful. The food was amazing, and the sangria was delicious.

Went there for lunch and enjoyed the Tex Mex salad. Comfortable atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff. Great selection of beverages and eats and it does not break the bank. It is a good place for friends and family. Come on down and have a few beverages or and a meal and enjoy your stay.

We have previously been to the Hard Rock Cafe at the TO location before, but each time we go the quality of service & food continues to disappoint more than the last time. To begin, we ordered drinks and after 15 minutes had pasts it appeared that our server had forgotten about it. I reminded her about our drinks and... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
