The 'in' crowd eats here. Toronto's media and professional crowd. Pretty white, though. Any noisy. With no curtains or other sound adsorbers, you have to yell to talk to your table mates. Food is great, but rich. Service friendly. Decor eclectic.

Eclectic decor, hip crowd. Limited menu (one sided piece of photocopied paper in a plastic sleeve; not a lot of selection). NO PIZZA! Oysters, calamari apps good. Garlic shrimp linguine pasta dish also good. Had the 10 oz. steak ($22.95), does not come with sides....More

East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that

relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection
of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets,

there are lots of no-wheat ingredients, since it is mostly sides they serve so it is easy to avoid gluten; whether they have gluten free pasta, you'd have to phone.
Why is this listed as The Beaches? This is Leslieville - not the Beaches at all....

Michael M is exactly right! However Leslieville businesses should show their pride in the area which has vastly improved in recent years.
