Good food in a family run, family friendly restaurant. Very accommodating. Informal. Wood fired pizza which are all excellent. Eglinton salad is recommended

We love Italian food and on Eglinton there is lots of choice. Instead of hitting our usual go-to place a few doors away, we decided to try Ferraro 502. What a pleasant discovery. The place has a relaxed, easy going vibe. The two rooms are neither crowded nor noisy, just comfortable. Service was exceptional - ice water seconds after we... More

Great food- great service-well priced! What more could you ask for. I was surprised at how good their ribs were.

Absolutely love this place. The service is great and it is a calm and relaxing atmosphere - perfect for families. The food tastes like Nonna makes it; exactly what you want from an Italian restaurant...highly recommended !

Good spot for couples, friends, families meeting up for a quick but delicious bite. Service is always good and food comes quickly and hot! Not necessarily a good choice for a long romantic dinner but if you're looking for consistently good standard Italian food in a bright and happy environment then this is your place.

I loved the fact that the restaurant offered so many choices, in particular the ability to get whole wheat pie. Though the crust was quite good- nice and thin- the pizza lacked much taste. It was fairly plain with not enough seasoning. Rather bland. Our server was terrific and she brought extra spices and pesto to give the pizza a... More

Can't beat this family run resto. Wood fired pizza, skilfully made by the owner. Great service, reasonable prices, and lively atmosphere.

Pizza and pasta lead the charge here at this resto on Eglinton west. I find it perfect for any size family of any age. Tonight we celebrated my mom's 80th and the staff were great and we loved the food!

This authentic Italian pizzeria is owned by a local family who makes the best thing crust pizzas. We had the Pizza Dan, get that if you like meat and spices :) This pie has bacon, ham, sausage, pepperoni and prosciutto! I also started with the Egg Drop soup, try it if you like salty brothy soup :)

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
