Haven't been here for 3 years and was pleasantly surprised be the new appearance. Beautiful in creamy white shades, comfortable seating, wall hung artwork reflecting the Italian arts. Started with an attractively presented aragula green salad, followed by a slightly al dente Gnocci in a subtly flavoured & rich tomato sauce. Topped this off with a smooth red merlot. Unfortunately... More

The food was excellent but the service left us feeling like our presence was an imposition. The maitre d' was busy helping potential clients organize an event and never lifted his head while we waited at the door. Another waiter escorted us to a table and abandoned us with a menu in hand. We only received service after another patron... More

Horrible service unless 'they know you' , the food is expensive and taste is very mediocre for what you are paying. Horrible horrible service did I mention that?

The rest of the staff seemed more reasonable and friendly. When I asked if they served pizza, the maitre d seemed miffed and said that we could get pizza in the cafeteria and that he had just explained the nice special they had. We shared the artichoke dish which was good but the artichokes were canned not fresh. I had... More

Boccaccio Ristorante is one of the lesser-known gems of authentic upscale Italian cuisine in Toronto,in part because of its slightly out-of-the-way location and lack of street frontage(it is located inside the Columbus Centre). But the quality of the food plus the ambiance and the service offer ample reward for the effort of finding it.Make sure you go on a night when... Had dinner at Boccaccio the other night with a friend. It was my first time at this restaurant and I chose it based on web reviews and the fact it was conveniently located for both my friend and I. While it was ok overall, I was hoping for a better experience. Firstly, the restaurant was virtually empty despite it being... More

We've been here many times and can't figure out why it's not jammed. The staff are friendly and helpful, the menu exceptional, the food superb and prices reasonable. It's a bit hard to find which may be why there aren't more people there. If you like Italian food, do yourself a favour and try Boccaccio.

Roberto is extremely passionate about providing exceptional customer service, and a wonderful hostess. I thoroughly enjoyed my work Christmas party that took place here and all of the staff ensured that everyone was more than taken care of. The food was amazing as well as the drinks! Grazie and salute!

Description
Ristorante Boccaccio is tucked inside the Columbus Centre and has been for over 35 years. The difference now is that we're refreshed by a major renovation. Ristorante Boccaccio is a venerable place to visit for authentic Italian food. The authentic Italian menu is a reflection of+ Italian culture true to our Italian roots. The Italian wine list enhances the dining experience with an emphasis on affordable wine. We do private bookings on Sundays.
