We went for dinner before a show at the Air Canada Centre. Perfect place within walking distance to the theatres on King Street too. Good Prix Fixe selection. Excellent waiter.

Ate here for dinner recently. The dishes were great, with generous portions. Desert ( flour less torte) disappointing. Service good, not great. Would recommend.

O&B never fails to disappoint! Went here for lunch and to be honest I wasn't expecting it to great. I was definitely wrong! The food was amazing! I had an assortment of food but my favourite was the chorizo and kale salad! It wasn't too filling but was delicious! My only negative was that I had gone in the middle... More

I come from Europe and I know the good french cuisine. The aesthetic was fantastic and romantic, so I decided to bring my wife there but then.. the food was terrible, from the starter to dessert.. the only good thing was the bread before start our dinner. We were trying to finish our dishes just because we felt sorry about... More

My friend and I each enjoyed our delicious fixed price lunches, especially the soups. The main room is quite noisy, but we were given a quieter table in a side room where the service was pleasant and unhurried. Only complaint was that they didn't fill our water glasses without being asked. I will definitely return.

❤️thank you for the most attentive and fun staff to make our anniversary one to remember . We happened upon an outdoor BBQ party , Mill St. Brewery Promo , without knowing before then spent a quieter evening in the art gallery, with escargot (0ld French Style) then calves liver which is , if you like it , then this... This little restaurant reminded us of a favorite bistro in Paris. Service was attentive, presentations were just shy of elegant, and the selections and seasonings were excellent. On top of that, prices were quite modest for our meals. We enjoyed it so much we went back a couple of days later and had the same experience, but a different enough... More

I ordered a FILET MIGNON that was not that tender or properly prepared. The rest of the meal was also lacking and definitely not worth the medium to high price. The restaurant and room was first rate, but the food, the most important component was lacking.

Had a great dinner here this week. The restaurant is quiet which allows for a comfortable level of conversation. As for the food, the seared tuna was perfectly cooked and the candied orange cake for dessert was well worth it. The service was also quite good. I definitely would eat here again!

We had a meeting / social in their Red Room and enjoyed creative food, good wine and a great server who was attentive, engaging and accommodating. It was a highlight of my Toronto trip.

Description
Reminiscent of a 1930's Parisian Bistro, Biff's Bistro is a smart, upscale masterpiece by Toronto uber-restaurateurs Peter Oliver and Michael Bonacini. The stylish lounge, featuring a stunning zinc-topped bar, represents pure vintage design, while handsome leather banquettes, warm wood paneling and grand mirrors create a rich, lively dining space. In this setting, Chef Amanda Ray presents an extensive menu of inspiring French bistro cuisine, with an impressive corresponding wine list. Located in the heart of downtown, just steps away from many downtown theatres, hotels and the Air Canada Centre.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
