Haven't been to the Beacher Cafe for a few years so decided to try it again and see if the price/quality had improved. It was lunch so I ordered the chicken caeser salad listed for $18.00. I expected a substantial lunch for that amount but...More

Good mix of seating choices as you can sit inside but it is open to the outside, so no problem if it starts raining. Quick seating and friendly service. Lots of menu choices for brunch. Food was good, unfortunately not what I ordered. While paying...More

Food was ok - I only had an appetiser which was tasty enough, 3 others in my party had mains which they were happy with. The problem came when the waitress cleared the table when one of our party was still obviously eating (a common,...More

This is a great breakfast spot. We go here with the grandchildren, and they always find something to their liking. There is usually street parking close by. The prices are typical for the Beach area...a little high, but that is not unique for this area.

The Beacher is a cozy, family-friendly restaurant offering many comfort food-style dishes. Their spaghetti is a hit with the kids, and the portions are quite large (my young boys can even share a dish off the Kids Menu). This week I tried their Meat Lasagna,...More

This is a great place for brunch. Food is simple, but good. Service is good, and the ambience is cafe like with large windows to observe the comings and goings on the street.

My Husband and I were heading home after a performance on Friday evening (Good Friday) Our usual restaurant was closed and we saw you were open, from the moment we entered we were treated warmly, and graciously by our waiter Conrad. The specials and wine...More

Back in the 70's I remember as a child going to basically any diner in say New York or Miami and any other big city and restaurant food was basically good and simple. Any half-decent diner had simply good food and service. Nowadays we have...More
