Have to admit that I never made it to the restaurant in all the years that I lived in Toronto but on a recent visit to the city I (finally) had a chance to eat there. Food was great - wonderful steak, tremendous wine list,...More

Dropped in for supper, the ambience of the restaurant is great, it’s quiet and calm. The waiting staff are very helpful and discreet, they come over when needed but leave you alone to enjoy your food. I had the 9oz sirloin , I asked for...More

Interesting place, lots of history. Tucked away on a street filled with good restaurants. Parking is not easy, but there is valet service at night.. Considered the best steak house in Toronto. Service s good, and the wine selection may be the best in Canada....More

I travel to Toronto semi regularly for business and usually stay at a hotel in the neighbourhood. Barberian is located in a quaint, cozy little cottage, it looks so cute, I just had to stop in! The first few times I’ve tried to eat here...More

I have never experienced dining to be a perfect event anywhere other than Barerian's Steak House. I defy anyone to find a better place to eat. In fact, this is not eating, dining or anything else, it is an experience!

The atmosphere is great, old London steakhouse. Service excellent. Steak, oysters, seafood chowder all good, and the horseradish best ever tasted. However ordered medium lamb rack which came very rare, seared tuna was tasteless and french fries were a soggy mess, worst ever tasted. If...More

First location: Downtown Toronto off of Yonge. Parking: Pay parking across the street. Cost me $10.00 last night for lots of time. Ambience: Once passing through the narrow, street level front door you’ll immediately return to an era long-since past. If I could name it...More

Food is subpar, prices are beyond and service is lacking. Almost everyone at our table complained of the steaks being too dry and VERY salty. All the sides were uneventful. The prices are ridiculous for what you get. Also, $10 to swap vegetables instead of...More
