About
Bar Mercurio is a small family run restaurant downtown Toronto, with a strong focus on quality and freshness. We hand make our pasta and agnolotti, our pizza dough comes from a long tradition going back to the family in Italy, our burrata in hand stretched in house. Our wines are carefully selected to compliment a simple and elegant pizza margarita to a bison strip-loin with fresh truffles. Our care and commitment comes to the table - we make the culinary dream happen. Buon Appetito!

We four really looked forward to eating here and expected a happy dining experience. It was not to be. The atmosphere was great - a bistro/European flavour setting the tone and a most attentive and welcoming hostess who found us a cozy table. It was...More

I apologize for your wait time- if you are correct with your timing, it is unacceptable! However, your assessment of the pizza and dessert should be reconsidered! We use whole mill, stone milled organic flour- Ontario , no roundup in the cultivation. In addition, we...More

We eat at Bar Mercurio often and hardly ever are disappointed. But last night was the best. First, the Fried Calamari was a complex and delicious first course, almost a meal in itself. Then I had the new Chitara (pasta) with rapini and (tiny) anchovy...More

Very strange! Are you certain it’s bar Mercurio? I would generally invite you back for the purpose of correction- however, given your total disappointment - i won’t. Giuseppe Mercurio

Very good business lunch. I had the grilled calamari and a cavolo salad; my friend had a pasta. Wines are good but pricey. The coffee is very good. The service is friendly and generally competent; the ambiance is conducive to conversation. Recommended.
