We were staying at the Park Hyatt in Toronto so dining at Annona was very convenient (the restaurant is in the hotel). Food and service were very good. I really enjoyed their vichyssoise made with celeriac. Also had their braised beef rib which was very good. Nice selection of wine. And they were able to provide me with plenty of... More

We were greeted promptly and graciously. Having lots to talk about, we appreciated not feeling at all hurried; service was both pleasant and professional. We chose chicken matzoh ball soup, sesame chicken breast salad, and seafood risotto: all of which were very good. The salad, in particular, was outstanding in both presentation and taste. For dessert, we shared the cheese... More

We were a party of 5 that received excellent service by our Waiter, Barry, this evening (August 16, 2016) at Annona. We were welcomed and greeted by their most solicitous Hostess, Ventina. Barry went so far as to even run across the street to Morton's to get mint jelly for one of the guests at our table. Annona should be... More

We went for lunch at Annona Restaurant during Summerlicious 2016. It is a great way to try their menu at a great price. I had their Flank Steak and it was excellent. However, my wife had the Sesame Chicken Breast Salad and she was quite disappointed (no flavour).

We went for summerlicious, which was slightly different from the regular menu. The appetizers were delicious. I had the sea scallops and my fiancee had the beef titaki, which was different but the best course of the meal. My main was the rainbow trout, perfectly cooked and not at all dry. She had the steak, which was OK but a... More

The food portions are generous and so is the service! Immaculate, friendly and polished. Great range of choices on the menu including good quality seafood (Chilean sea bass is one of the favourites). Valentina, the Host, is great and will walk around tables to enquire if everything is okay. The entire wait staff works as a unison team so everyone... More

Despite being a hotel restaurant, Annona is one of my favourites due to its superb cooking and presentation. Each dish is prepared as per the menu and surprises your eyes - why don't I serve dinner like that at home?! Oh yeah, too time consuming. Service is good and they try to honour reservation requests such as by the window.... More

This was my wife and I's first high tea and were delighted with the experience provided by the staff at Annona. Our server was extremely friendly and welcoming. He walked us through the process and as the food arrived he would describe each sandwich, pastry and sweet The food was great! You can tell there was a lot of attention... More

Our stay at the Park Hyatt - Toronto included breakfast here at Annona. Service was consistently friendly. Food quality was good. The organic, fresh squeezed orange juice was incredible. My wife enjoyed the gluten free options. A bit spendy but that shouldn't be surprising at a 4 or 5 star hotel.

We have often gone to Annona for meals: which have always been absolutely excellent, as the reviews here reflect. Tonight was appalling. We are in shock! "Chicken roulade" was worse than airplane food or steam table cafeteria fare: disintegrating, grey, flavourless, with inedible bits of tough artichoke and bullet-like carrots floundering in a pea mush that was like commercial babyfood.... Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
