We came in July for a birthday date night and was pleasantly surprised. Across the street from the Sheraton hotel and a quick scoot from the Hilton, it offers fantastic Italian food with a professional but not intrusive service. Our server, Emily, paced out our courses perfectly and the bartender, Mony, had recommend some amazing cocktails to start. I'll definitely... More

Got a chance to spend a meal with friends from Utah. Had a great meal and was able to converse across the table without yelling. Allergic to tomato but had choices to order from.

We went here with a large group of people and the service was excellent! The wait staff was very friendly and attentive! Since we were with a large group, we were had a limited menu but our offerings were excellent choices. This place is small and intimate. It would be place for a romantic dinner.

A block from our Hilton in downtown. This had a very attractive interior, small and intimate. Our friendly server, Rene, was so helpful and answered questions about changes in the menu, etc. service was quick and our meal was delicious. We would definitely go there again!

We visited Little Anthony's during the Summerlicious event of 2016. It consisted of a multi course fixed prix menu. Each and every course was delicious. The whipped buffala cheese was AMAZING! Our server (who was from Argentina) was superb! Thank you for a wonderful evening!

The table was very good, the service was good, the food was amazing, the wine we... More

I came to this restaurant with a large group during the week. We had a private area of the restaurant which was very nice and had a view of York St. We were served a variety of antipasti such as focaccia bread, an assortment of cured meats and olives. Since it was a large group, we were given a set... More

We almost walked out after being seated and never receiving even an acknowledgement we were there. After nearly 10 minutes we finally had service. As one in our party said at the end "well I'm glad it was worth the wait". The food was outstanding especially the Carbonara. I'm not sure why the service was so poor since they were... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
