We visited Little Anthony's during the Summerlicious event of 2016. It consisted of a multi course fixed prix menu. Each and every course was delicious. The whipped buffala cheese was AMAZING! Our server (who was from Argentina) was superb! Thank you for a wonderful evening!

This restaurant was right beside our hotel, we called in one afternoon and the lady at the reception desk could not have been nicer, she explained all we needed to know and made us feel welcome, we went back for dinner the next night. The table was very good, the service was good, the food was amazing, the wine we... More

Fabulous food, wonderful atmosphere, and perfect location combined to make it a memorable night. With their window tables, it has a terrific street view as well.

I came to this restaurant with a large group during the week. We had a private area of the restaurant which was very nice and had a view of York St. We were served a variety of antipasti such as focaccia bread, an assortment of cured meats and olives. Since it was a large group, we were given a set... More

We almost walked out after being seated and never receiving even an acknowledgement we were there. After nearly 10 minutes we finally had service. As one in our party said at the end "well I'm glad it was worth the wait". The food was outstanding especially the Carbonara. I'm not sure why the service was so poor since they were... More

Since this restaurant is near the banking/business centre of Toronto, I was expecting a snooty restaurant. I was impressed with everything! It is within walking distance to Eaton's Centre, Queen's Park and the subway stops. The service was fantastic - the hostess was welcoming even though we didn't have a reservation. Usually, people roll their eyes, but she was genuine... More

As we were staying at the Sheraton Hotel, we enquired at the front desk of good local restaurants and this little gem was top of the list. Just a stones throw from the hotel, enter the doors and you are transformed to a modern but traditional Italian Restaurant. The service was swift and polite and the food was just out... More

We went here based on a recommendation from a friend; we were in walking distance and it worked out great. I had the Tagliatelle Bolognese which was truly fantastic! and my husband had the Chicken Parmigiana which looked delicious. Portions were goodt, staff was attentive and friendly. Too stuffed for dessert from the delicious dinner and tasty bread and olive... More

Lovely restaurant downtown with wonderful Italian food and a delightful staff. We were a large party and we were accommodated with smiles and genuine welcome. Salads are fresh and terrific and the portions of the entrees are large. We thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
