We were at this restaurant for a business lunch. It's my second time here and I've been very impressed each time. We were on a time limit and they got us our food amazingly quickly. Only the bill took a while to come.

I have enjoyed business lunches since the restaurant opened, dinners before a show or drinks with friends. Good food and great service. Accessible by public transport, but you'll also find cabs lined up on Wellington going West and Bay going up town. Not a place for young children, but teenagers, yes. Good kale salad and the fish of the day... More

Very much looked forward to our annual trip to Toronto and an evening at Jump. I would say there has been a downgrade in the maturity and experience of staff. For a restaurant of this calibre, this is not a good thing. I ordered the Jump burger and after two bites I realized it was absolutely raw- not just a... More

I love Jump, I've never had bad food there, that is until I went for Summerlicious a couple of days ago. This particular visit, I found that every dish just missed the mark, my husband's choices also fell short of his expectations. I started with the heirloom tomatoes and peach salad. I couldn't wait for those favourite summer flavours of... More

We went to Jump for lunch on the patio. The most striking aspect of the restaurant is how quickly they are able to deliver your meal after you order. Food was good, service was average Toronto which means unexceptional.

We took summerlicous menu. Quality of food was very average and definitely not chief's level. Main course was undercooked for both of us. Salad was good. One would except more for the price level. We will not come back.

Visited for the first time during Summerlicious. Food was good, though not outstanding. Ordered wine. At first it tasted a little off and smelled dusty. Staff person (perhaps supervisor?) advised it was fine - that's just how the wine tastes. We tried it in another glass...lo and behold, it was fine. The first glass - the actual glass itself -... We went to Jump for a small and intimate wedding reception following a ceremony at City Hall. The venue was perfect for this type of event and the staff who served us were wonderful. There were 4 children as part of the group and they were very kind and patient with them (which isn't always the case in upscale restaurants).... More

The atmosphere both inside and outside is fantastic as it is nicely tucked away from the chaos of central Toronto. There is a good selection of beer and wine. Table are well spaced apart and the service is fantastic. Food is good but not great for the money but it is still a very nice place for a relaxing lunch... More

We had a business meal here with a set menu...easy, right? We were only a group of about 20 and the restaurant was not busy. The waiter was awesome, and absolutely on top of keeping everyone happy. The appetizers were very good and the desserts, delicious. However, the entrees left a lot to be desired. The steaks and salmon were... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
