If i lived in this city i would come here often as this place takes care of us like we are family. Here, for a special occasion, we were promptly greeted and gently introduced to what they do best here. Features are written on the wall though I enjoyed Veal Limone which melts in your mouth. Service is excellent. Courses... More

Nothing to complain about but nothing was outstanding. The service was very disrupted with more than one person looking after the table and no one really paying attention. Took forever to get our bill.

Old world charm. Well dressed waiters. Good food with generous portions. Reasonable prices. What's not to like.

From the beginning, making the reservation to the end of the evening the experience was wonderful. We had a large party 9 of us. All the food arrived at the same time and hot. I ordered the carpaccio, my fave, and I was not disappointed. It as an appetizer but large enough for a my meal. Prepared to perfection, right... More

A nice place to go mid-week as they not too busy. Service very friendly and the food is very good. Some very traditional Italian dishes with a wide variety including some fish and meat dishes to choose from.

Serving up some of the best bruschetta in the city, Gamberoni is a low risk option for good Italian. Not the finest dining, but quality food at fair prices. Enjoy!

I've been eating at this place for twenty years. We have invited friends and family. We have invited work colleagues. Gambaroni has never failed to deliver. Good honest Italian cooking. Family run. You can eat a quality meal without blowing your brains out. Our go to place for many years. Thank you Gamberoni.

Have been going to this nice little place Uptown Toronto place for years and always have a good meal. Fresh pasta, friendly staff and reasonable prices keep us coming back to Gamberoni's. Beware that portions are large & overeating is always a possibility!

Our favourite local Italian spot, been going monthly for 17 years. Best mussels and veal parmesan in Toronto. Great food, good value. Enjoy!

The food is always pretty good and the specials appetising. Unfortunately the service is brutal; if you are not a frequent patron who is flashy, you are seated upstairs. This is okay except that you are often forgotten. There is just too much attitude to want to continue coming back. Best to go in the off season.

Staying in North End

Neighborhood Profile
North End
The North End is a nucleus of specialty food restaurants and shops, especially around its Mount Pleasant Village area. Frequented by antiquers for its numerous collectable shops, furniture spots, and oddity stores, the North End is a maverick of the quaint and quality. Vintage toy stores, accessory shops, and cinemas welcome perusers to step back in time, while the wide pedestrian squares and the large medical and business community inject it with a dose of modernity. With numerous cafes and Toronto's greatest number of independent booksellers, it isn't uncommon to see folks in this area at their leisure, reading outdoors and in eateries, and taking life a bit more slowly – even if it's only during their lunch break.
