A nice place to go mid-week as they not too busy. Service very friendly and the food is very good. Some very traditional Italian dishes with a wide variety including some fish and meat dishes to choose from.

Serving up some of the best bruschetta in the city, Gamberoni is a low risk option for good Italian. Not the finest dining, but quality food at fair prices. Enjoy!

I've been eating at this place for twenty years. We have invited friends and family. We have invited work colleagues. Gambaroni has never failed to deliver. Good honest Italian cooking. Family run. You can eat a quality meal without blowing your brains out. Our go to place for many years. Thank you Gamberoni.

Have been going to this nice little place Uptown Toronto place for years and always have a good meal. Fresh pasta, friendly staff and reasonable prices keep us coming back to Gamberoni's. Beware that portions are large & overeating is always a possibility!

Our favourite local Italian spot, been going monthly for 17 years. Best mussels and veal parmesan in Toronto. Great food, good value. Enjoy!

The food is always pretty good and the specials appetising. Unfortunately the service is brutal; if you are not a frequent patron who is flashy, you are seated upstairs. This is okay except that you are often forgotten. There is just too much attitude to want to continue coming back. Best to go in the off season.

I have been dining at this restaurant for 15 years. Always enjoyed the food. Decor and service are so so. It was slow getting our food but no biggie but what really irks me is the the server with a bad attitude! My wife just asked if the rest of the dishes were coming as he forgot about one of... More

I had the Lamb Lasagna special. It was bland. So was my friend's veggie pasta. Service was slow. Plates were not brought out together but one at a time. By the time the last dish came the food served first was getting cold. Tough for everyone to eat at the same time. Decor is very 1950's. Owner is old so... More

We have been going to Gamberoni for close to 30 years. Great food, fun owners that care and reasonable prices. Consistently good to great food. We have never had a disappointing meal. They are always able to customize a dish if requested. Very affordable. Give a try, you love it.

I come here all the time. I eithet order from the menu or they make me something special. The food is always fabulous. The seafood is to dies for as are the veals and their pasta dishes are out of this world. They have lovely house wines and all at very reasonable prices.

Staying in North End

Neighborhood Profile
North End
The North End is a nucleus of specialty food restaurants and shops, especially around its Mount Pleasant Village area. Frequented by antiquers for its numerous collectable shops, furniture spots, and oddity stores, the North End is a maverick of the quaint and quality. Vintage toy stores, accessory shops, and cinemas welcome perusers to step back in time, while the wide pedestrian squares and the large medical and business community inject it with a dose of modernity. With numerous cafes and Toronto's greatest number of independent booksellers, it isn't uncommon to see folks in this area at their leisure, reading outdoors and in eateries, and taking life a bit more slowly – even if it's only during their lunch break.
