We booked the Oak Room for a gathering of about 50 people and even though we ended up having a great time, there were many things that were a let down. First, even though our booking was for 7pm and I had advised the owner we would be there as of that time, no one seemed to have any clue... More

We stumbled on this bar while looking for a place to grab a late night drink. The bar menu reads like a magazine - there are so many drink options! I tried the "cold fashioned" - a variation on an old fashioned. Also great selection of beer - and a good bar menu - we had a platter of meats... More

We were really interested in dinner but decided to try The College Street Bar. It's all small plates so you have to be careful or you can wind up with a bill that is bigger than you'd like. Considering that this is a bar first and foremost their food was OK. We shared Short Ribs, Buttermilk Chicken Fingers, Roasted Erie... More

Just stumbled upon this location, decided to give it a try. They serve food here, I was only interested in a drink. They have a very good drink menu, and if your undecided the staff recommend a few that were not disappointing, they make a mean dirty Vodka martini. I will be returning for the Martini's

My 5 friends and I stumbled upon this place for my friend's birthday and we had an amazing time! We came in at around 10:30pm and the staff were able to seat us at a couple of tables right away. There is quite a good drink selection and the drink prices weren't too bad (the Apocalypse and Blue Blazer were... More

A nice little spot to have drinks with friends, listen to music and dance. The bar, like most establishments on College St. is long and narrow, but the vibes are really nice.

I had a friend in town not so long ago and we had gone to a movie...about....middle of the evening on a Thursday night. When we left the movie, we weren't quite ready to call it a night. She was the guest and I was the hostess, so I was like. I gotta come up with something. So, I says... More

Staying in Little Italy

Neighborhood Profile
Little Italy
Toronto's Little Italy is a city hotspot for cafe culture and nightlife. There's something for everyone in Little Italy, apparent from the cross-section of clubbers in glitzy dresses, and elderly couples arm-in-arm heading to their favorite wine or pasta spot. Cafes spill onto the wide sidewalks, pool lounges and bars are always teeming with noise and activity, and both outdoor and indoor marketplaces are packed with fresh fish, cured meats, and pungent cheeses. All of the activity makes it a perfect spot for people-watching, especially over a nice glass of red wine or a quick and sumptuous slice of pizza at one of the many eateries or trattorias in the area.
