Went with a family group of 10. They sat us at the back of a empty freezing cold room. From the start, the waiter could not wait till we left. We ordered our main 1 hour and 15 minutes after we sat down. The food was just "OK" . ( being generous on the "Just"). The room, menu and overall... More

Went here with a large group of people. Server was very friendly n helpful. I had the mousaka...well I didn't hv it, the cream sauce was made from goat milk and that doesn't sit well on my pallet. The salad was delicious though. My girls loved the chicken souvlaki and fries. Potatoes were delicious. Hubby loved his meal. Great overall.

We went to the Danforth this afternoon and decided after shopping to grab a bite to eat. My husband and I decided to try Christina's. We haven't been to this restaurant in quite some time, we thought that because we enjoyed the food the last time we visited there, that it would be a good choice to make for dinner.... More

Our family went for a casual dinner last evening and we thought Christina on Danforth would be a good choice. I am not a regular customer but I have been to this restaurant for 4 to 5 times over the last 3 years. The last time I was at that restaurant was about a year ago and I had good... More

We (3 of us) had lunch at Christina's today. The calamari were delectable and the lunches my sister and cousin had beef/lamb patty with rice, potatoes, Greek salad and tzatziki were also fantastic!

A friend and went here for lunch. They served her flat draught beer and me wine that had clearly gone off as it tasted like vinegar. When we asked for bottled beer instead, the owner came out and asked us to leave.

Owner was very rude Greek man with very little help for children. No wonder most of the restaurant was empty on a Saturday afternoon. Any families with young children are treated like an inconvenience.

Staying in East End

Neighborhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
