Out for a day of shopping with my pasta loving granddaughter we enjoyed our lunch at this Eaton Centre location. In spite of a very busy lunch time crowd the pasta was cooked nicely al dente and the sauces hit the spot. My pasta was gluten free and also prepared perfectly. The service was great.

Place was packed. Food was average. Overpriced small portion. I had the Polla Alla Diavola and it was alright. My friend got the Rigatoni Alla Bolognese and it was pretty small and bland. First and last for us.

The food here was amazing, I don't remember the name of what I ordered but it was a fancy pasta with duck in it. I would recommend it for sure! We were seated at a nice little table at the end of the restaurant by a window which is a nice layout, couples in one quiet area and the larger... More

It was my birthday, and our waiter made sure to make it very special. He was very patient with us when a friend was running late, and he let me order a dish that wasn't even on the menu. Although there are a lot of kids running around, its still a fancy place with a great wine selection.

we've been there before going to a musical. Great, great place! Nice atmosphere, very tasty food and quick!!! Price worth it, not too expensive. You don't feel like you are inside a mall. If you are going to Ed Mirvish Theater it's a great place to have some italian food and good wine. Park under Dundas Sq and you are... More

Popped on for a quick bite. Very busy so speed was not optimal but not slow either. I enjoyed a Rubio red wine with carmelized onion soup. Great together. Next a meatball pizza with fiori latte and diavola sauce. If you come as a couple and want appetizers one pizza will do. The energy is high and inviting.

I say Italian sports bar because that is what the environment reminded me as. It is in the Shopping center, long bar, TV's high top tables as well as low tables. Busy, with average noise. Food is good but not outstanding. Good place for quick eats for lunch. Did not go there for dinner so no comment.

We stopped for lunch and had a great experience. We had a short wait for a table (we came at peak lunch time without a reservation), service was quick and efficient. Our waiter recommended wine and meal choices - all recommendations were spot on. Everything was tasty and fresh. Will definitely be going back.

We had dinner there for our last night in Toronto. The food was very good and the service was also very pleasant. The place was, however, very noisy which made it hard to have a conversation.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
