The pizza was terrible. Most crust . It was not even scored and I had to use a scissors to cut it. I have been to authentic artisan pizza and italian restaurants in Toronto and Italy but this was one of the worst I have...ever experienced. In every pizza I had tomato sauce was always the base even though it was stated as one of the ingredients of the pizza on the menu. This one had none. There was very little latte di fior. Thank god i added sun dried tomatoes so it had some liquidity. The spaghetti and meatballs was average. Even the spaghetti factory was just as good and less expensive. Meat was dry and not enough tomato sauce. Will never eat there agin-it was for delivery.More

I’ve been here numerous times and the food never disappoints. I tried the eggplant Parm and margherita pizza and they were both phenomenal. I would definitely recommend this place.

This is one of the best Italian restaurants in Toronto. The service was fast, the staff were super friendly and the food is amazing. The restaurant is very authentic. The pizzas taste amazing and are a very generous size for the price you pay. Napoli...Centrale has everything you want in an Italian restaurant and with it being a bit out of the core it is truly a hidden gem. 10/10 would recommend.More

Cute place the pasta was very good as well was the service...I felt the calzone was not great, the vegetables were close to raw and not much cheese.

Our first visit to this pizzeria. We walked into a lovely atmosphere of a neighbourhood place and were greeted and seated immediately. We ordered a caprese salad and a red pizza. First the server brought a basket of cut up focaccia bread, olives and a...spicy red pepper spread. We enjoyed everything. Before we knew it, our food was placed in front of us. Great service. The caprese (pictured here) was incredibly generous. The pizza was beautiful, delicious and satisfying. We were thoroughly delighted with our experience, the staff and food. We will recommend Napoli Centrale to our friends and be back ourselves.More

Supper for 7 so we ordered 5 different pizzas and salads. More than enough food for all of us. It was difficult to choose which pizzas we wanted since there was such a variety but we managed. Delightful.

Very friendly and accommodating Brazilian server. Was able to modify white pizza so that it had shrooms, Brie and smoked provolone. First time I’ve ever had Greek salad and there were olives and cheese left over, because the portions are generous. Others enjoyed their pizzas,...meat balls and salad, and the orange cake dessert was phenomenal!More

The good reviews and recommendation from our host prompted us to dine at this pizzeria. We ordered 3 different pizzas - each one equally disappointing. The pizzas came lukewarm, almost cold, even though they had just came out of the oven. The cheese was hardly...melted, and the pizza base was completely soaked through with the sauce. The crust itself was tasty, however the whole thing was unpleasant to eat and just didn’t work. We don’t think the chef has ever been to Naples - we have, and the pizza there doesn’t taste like this.More

I rarely rate a restaurant excellent but this time I have no doubts, the most authentic Neapolitan Pizza outside of Italy lives here. If you are expecting a super elegant place with an esthetic wow - factor well that’s not the case. However, the restaurant...welcomes you with a nice warm atmosphere, the staff is super friendly. Chef Alfredo is straight from downtown Napoli and is one of the most knowledgeable experts on pizza in the GTA. They follow the recipe to the letter and to the spirit getting their extra pure flour shipped from Italy. Appetizers are fantastic with an eggplant parmigiana very generous in size. Super-good are also Zeppoline, little bites of dough filled with ricotta and pork cured meats. Pizza is just fantastic. I tried their version of a very unique Pizza Ragu’ dressed with a very thick tomato sauce previously cooked with onions celery and carrots. The taste is twice as intense as your regular sauce. Pizza Regina with Buffalo mozzarella cheese is another favourite. Located on Bathurst just south of Dupont.More

I can't comment on the service or even the prices because I've never actually entered the restaurant. So what makes me qualified to review this place? Well it's a restaurant and I'm going to review the food. While I I have never actually been inside...on both occasions I was the getaway driver as we were having takeout. The pizza was what we had the first time. My friend picked and ordered but the pies were equivalent to what you would get in Italy. Absolutely outstanding Pizza. The next time he suggested getting pasta so my son and I had the meat lasagna. It was most likely the meatiest lasagna I think I have ever had outside of my house. So I can't tell you much about service or price but I can tell you that the food is amazing! And really at the end of the day a lot of the time that's why we go to a restaurant.More

we always enjoy coming from afar to taste what we believe to be the best pizza in town, and we are often surprised by how empty the restaurant looks. not this time. still plenty of seats available, but a nice vibrant atmosphere, helped by the...friendly italian waiters. the mergellina salad was huge as always (serving 3) and the pizza regina excellent, with bufala mozzarella and great dough. prices still excellent.More

We would definitely recommend Napoli Centrale. It’s a very friendly neighbourhood restaurant with a truly southern Italian ambience. We had the 4 cheese pizza, the Santa Lucia pizza and Regina pizza, along with a salad and a red wine from Puglia. The ingredients were fresh...and the crust had a wonderful taste of the wood burning stove. We ended with the best gelato outside of Italy from Punto Gelato. The meal was a success. The highlight of course was the wonderful and friendly service from the Italian waitress to the owner who is Neapolitan. They even gave us a complimentary glass of limoncello!! What a treat!!!More

We went to this neighborhood restaurant and were EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!! First of all it was run by a group of brats that were hanging out in the back of the restaurant. No one really cared if we had service. When I asked why the service...was slow I was told that it was the last night before closing...whatever that means. The server was extremely rude (not to mention she was wearing a nauseating about of perfume). The food was okay. Much better choices in this neighborhood. I use to love this place. Sadly time to move on.More

I was here as part of a fairly large group, all of whom were enjoying themselves. The food is very good. I shared a Caprese salad and had an Ortolana (vegertarian) pizza, Both were fine, and the house red wine is certainly palatable. The atmosphere...is pleasant, the service friendly and competent. Recommended.More
