Not much seating but we ended up snagging a seat on the cafe bar. Food was delicious. Simple but sophisticated. Marble (or look alike I can't tell) bar tops. They weigh the grounds of each espresso shot which in my opinion is more satisfying to costumers as each drink will be uniform from one barista to the next. Check it... More

Excellent Americano. Friendly staff, and always amazing tunes. Decor is inviting, and relaxing. And if you go on the weekend, be sure to treat yourself to probably the best donut you will ever have in your life.

We went to the Leaside branch on 1517 Bayview Avenue. I had an espresso which was at least as good as any I've had in Toronto. My son had an Americano and said that it, too, was very good. I gather this cafe has been open since May, but I hadn't noticed it before. It's a very good addition to... More

We visited the Leaside branch (1517 Bayview Ave) which just got opened. Great atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. Great for a morning weekday coffee but also for a lazy Sunday afternoon.

This is a nice little coffee bar, the coffee is good. It's rather popular so often crowded and it's very hot! Quite a contrast when coming in from freezing temperatures!

LIT is a destination for me when I want a nice relaxing coffee place with a laid back and easy going vibe. Nice for reading a book or looking at some notes. They make a killer cappuccino and have both soy and almond milk (which I s a must for me!) Tried the almond croissant today and it was to... More

The coffee here is real... made the way it is supposed to be made. I recommend the macchiato... don't add sugar! it almost tastes chocolaty... so so good...

Came here during a visit to the Taste of Little Italy street festival looking for a place to eat. We had the roasted veg grilled panini, an ice coffee for a total of $9.93. The grilled panini tasted great but the bread was too hard. The ice coffee was great, no bitterness at all. Lots of space which is great... More

Staying in Little Italy

Neighborhood Profile
Little Italy
Toronto's Little Italy is a city hotspot for cafe culture and nightlife. There's something for everyone in Little Italy, apparent from the cross-section of clubbers in glitzy dresses, and elderly couples arm-in-arm heading to their favorite wine or pasta spot. Cafes spill onto the wide sidewalks, pool lounges and bars are always teeming with noise and activity, and both outdoor and indoor marketplaces are packed with fresh fish, cured meats, and pungent cheeses. All of the activity makes it a perfect spot for people-watching, especially over a nice glass of red wine or a quick and sumptuous slice of pizza at one of the many eateries or trattorias in the area.
