Thoroughly enjoyed the box meal. Butter chicken, rice and chana masala served with butter naan. The paneer is also excellent. Small but good selection of beers. Excellent service and friendly staff.

Well designed and clean restaurant with bar. Staff were super friendly. Ordered a butter chicken burrito - so delicious! Would definitely recommend for a quick cheap bite.

Been here a few times. Great food, freshly prepared. Spicy but not crazy - just right! Manager very friendly. Good beer selection.

Best authentic food I have had since I 'be been. Their Chicken Tikka Bryaini is nice and spicy. Their snack rolls are quite filling. The service is friendly professional and the staff are also quite funny and very nice people.

I have never written such a negative review about a restaurant's food, but this place was just awful. I ordered the Tikka Masala Chicken (a Popular Item), Palak Paneer and two side orders of Biryani Rice through UberEats. Although I cannot speak for the restaurant or staff itself, the food was so bad that my guests and I are now... More

Large portions, interesting concept, location, indoor and outdoor seating and good value for money. I usually get the grand Indian burrito (channa, rice, butter chicken on naan).

I got a butter chicken burrito that barely had any flavour and was incredibly dry and hard to eat. It didn't even taste like butter chicken.

This is not a fine dining restaurant, however the food is certainly to that standard and is excellent. The Paneer and the Sharmi were both excellent, staff friendly and happy to explain the menu. Good for food and a beer. A very genuine restaurant.

Nice people, chilled out atmosphere (looks like it would get crowded at night). Rolls were good, tasty, good portion. They even have limca imported from India! Would try again for their rolls.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
