I was so lucky to come across this place at the start of my trip. Loved it so much it became my go to place for my bagel and tea for brunch! 😋 I was recognised when I went in and even my order was remembered! Felt so comfortable there and was always a great way to start my day... More

stopped in here for coffee and some breakfast. Fresh and tasty is the order of the day and we enjoyed it even when a bird flew in and left a little 'present' on my shoulder :)

Smoothies were great as were the morning sandwiches. Server was pleasant, convenient to our hotel. I would recommend as an alternative to the chains around.

We stopped here prior to heading to the Blue Jays game and the food was great and prices remarkably great as well! Definitely recommend trying them out, and even more if you have a dog as you can bring them into sit beside your table of you wish for breakfast! Very pet friendly!

We enjoyed the location, as it was situated right beside our hotel, and close to the harbour. There was a great food selection...which was 'good' (not great). It is located in the same building as a canine training facility, so there were many dogs in the restaurant...a definite "turn off" for my wife & I. We love animals...just not sitting... More

It is your basic coffee shop, nothing over the top fancy, but I gave it 4 stars because the service was very good. Looks like it is family operated and they do a nice job of running their business. Coffee was hot and fresh and the breakfast sandwiches were tasty. An easy stop in this neighbourhood.

Grabbed breakfast here the morning before our flight (they open at 7 a.m. daily) and it was quick and easy. Prices were really affordable and everyone who worked there was very friendly.

A nice little place to eat breakfast. The food is good, not the greatest, but definitely somewhere I could eat again. The restaurant is dog friendly and we had someone's dog starring at us the entire time we ate. We like dogs, so we thought it was kinda cool, but I could see how some people wouldn't like that.

We stumbled upon this restaurant when the original one we were heading to didn't open until 11:30. It was not busy and their simple, but delicious menu pulled us in. I enjoyed the salmon hot rice box. It was really amazing, tasty and filling. I would absolutely go back here in a heartbeat and eat here again. Very friendly staff... More

We were walking around the waterfront and stumbled across the Purina Pet Centre - within which we stumbled upon this café. Was perfect for me as I was looking for a real organic yogurt smoothie rather than the syrupy ones served by Tim's. My friend had a nice sandwich with lots of fresh toppings and tasty bread. Would return if... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
