Located on the happening part of Ossington where lots of good restaurants co-exist sits Bazara.
Great menu of delicious sushi, sashimi, crispy beef, General Tso chicken, curries, plump dumplings and dim sum items. The curries were ordinary. The chicken and beef terrific. Sashimi was buttery and all were beautifully served.
It’s a popular restaurant, understaffed but manages to run efficiently. The dishes are served with a flow conducive to casual conversation and we didn’t feel rushed.
Definitely want to return!

We stopped to try the restaurant one evening because the interior looked lovely and authentic. The food is one of the best sushi rolls we've ever had. The ambiance was perfect, with really nice music and atmospheric lighting. We'll definitely come back, that food stayed on my mind days after!

Very good broiled Alaskan black cod; A different, but excellent, miso soup.
The Bazara maki rolls are absolutely delicious!!
And order the sushi (the Chef's selection was excellent) prepared with back rice; it's a Must!!
And they have my favourite Japanese beer: Asahi Superdry - awesome!
Very good, quiet and efficient service.
Nice atmosphere.
A really good spot for a meal!

I have been to Bazara in the past and it is great value and good food. The food was tasty on this particular day but clearly something was off as I barely made it home. Perhaps just bad luck. I would still go back.

Don't be fooled by the chic design and atmosphere, the service here is friendly and high quality. the food is fusion asian, which sometimes results in bizarre combinations. I was not convinced by the nori wrapped ravioli with chicken and cheese, for example, but the chicken thai dumplings with peanut sauce were excellent starters. We especially liked the black rice makis and many options / combinations of flavors are available. This place even has the classic "General Tao chicken" a child pleaser that every parent will take home for leftover lunch, as the plate is plenteful.

My partner and I have been going to Bazara for some time now. The food has always been excellent but they have recently stepped up the quality of their service and made this always wonderful resturant even better! The resturant can get really busy and all of the sushi is made by hand to order so we like to come here for a relaxed date night. The quality is unmatched by any other sushi place in the area that we have tried AND, given the quality, it is an excellent value.

This place is great. Cozy, quiet vibe. Food is always excellent. Decent choices for vegetarians and they offer gluten free soy sauce too, awesome place to go for a group with different dietary restrictions. Service is always pleasant, staff is there when you need them without being overbearing. Great spot for a date. Good value also.

Mild and deliciously panangish. The lunch menu has a great selection to chose from in each course. The restaurant is clean cozy and mostly booths so it give you privacy. Service was good considering he was alone and the place filled up quickly.

Excellent sushi and maki. They also seem to cook Chinese food well which is unusual... generally I find restaurants of this kind do one or the other well but not both. Bazara is clearly an exception. Definitely worth going!

stumbled on this place. Was walking around looking for a nice cafe, could not find one. Didnt want anything heavy to eat. The decor was lovely. The service was good. The menu is perfect. Lots of little things to order. Kinda like Tappas and you can share. The food was better than expected. Would go back again.

We discovered Bazara for a dinner before the Ossington Theatre, which is just up the street.
Our niece was visiting from out of town, and she is a sushi fanatic, so Bazara was an amazing surprise. EVERYTHING came to the table with terrific presentation, with great attentive service. We ordered a number of rolls and sushis that we're all fantastic (particularly their signature Bazara rolls)
AND the restaurant is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean.
Will definitely be back again.!

Really good quality. Great variety of roles. The black rice sushi is delicious and works really well with the combinations they paint it with. Lots of vegetarian options and options for people who are less comfortable with raw fish. Affordable, quick, friendly service.

Simple lunch menu where you can pick an item from three categories for about $15.00. Good quality and fair portions of vegetarian, seafood or meat dishes. Dinner menu looks interesting and will be back to check that out.
