Darbar satisfies our Persian craving when we don't want to go to North York and be in Iranian neighbourhood. Very good atmosphere, good lighting, good sonic environment, and good food. Price is a bit hight, but really! This is Toronto! Good food comes with the...More

A very high class restaurant with a warm and comfortable ambience. They just recently added very beautiful and comfortable chairs. The quality of the food was very good. Everything was delicious but especially the kabobs were made on the point.

We went there for family gathering. Food was way too expensive! Some of the Persian stews are up to 50$! My husband ordered Fesenjan. It was too watery and walnuts tasted raw. I know I shouldn’t compare this to my mom’s cooking but when I...More

While the mains are not inexpensive, the quality and skill in which they are prepared is top notch. Starters are great as well, portions are pretty substantial. Only complaint is the wine list, the mark-up is outrageous, IMO. Service was very attentive, owner was by...More

North End
The North End is a nucleus of specialty food
