I agree it's off the beaten track a bit which is nice....Decor is cool, but space seemed a bit cramped to me trying to sit with 2 others at a table. Cappuccino was fine. Nothing special IMO. Spinach/feta scone was moist and yummy. A friend with me has celiac disease and must eat gluten-free. We were told their 'gluten-free' options... More

We loved starting our Toronto days here - great choice of breakfast options, excellent coffee and friendly service. This place is in a residential area so well off the tourist trail and full of locals going about their day - we loved it - made us feel like a local!!

Very nice lovely interior and good coffee and bread. I am a well known espressospecialist in Holland and the coffee is good. Mostly like with Starbucks the coffee is burned. I don' t know why the can't make espresso like it is should but here they can.

This is a Cosy coffee shop where you get good coffee. I has homemade granola with fruit and yoghurt and I liked it. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing.

It was love from the first minute given that unsweetened almond milk was available as a dairy alternative. My first latte in weeks. After a great meeting, with a former colleague, I stayed for lunch. Heather, my server, was very patient and gracious in listening to my needs and offered a veggie soup, with curry oil, and salad combo that... More

...rather than the massed produced version we've all gotten so used to. Just faded enough to have atmosphere. Coffee was excellent, as was the scone that I chose to go with it, topped by a thimbleful of heavenly raspberry jam. Will not disappoint, unless your looking for something corporate and slick - if that's the case, you know where to... More

Excellent coffee. Stumbled upon this on my way to Casa Nova and really glad I did. If I live nearby I'd be getting my coffee there all the time.

Found this opposite the subway on my way to Casa Nova and glad I did. Lovely smooth roast and a great cheese croissant.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
