Directed to this place by my good friend 'Jay-san' who used to work here in the past, I did not know what to expect but supposedly good.
In short, I was pampered from entry to exit by the most friendly staff ever. The most friendly...More
JaBistro is an excellent restaurant with some of the best sushi I’ve had in Toronto for a generally reasonable price. The restaurant is attractive and comfortable and service is very friendly and well informed. If you are looking to treat yourself the prix fixe menu...More
Best nigiri I have had. Best my husband has had outside Japan. This place gets it right. We eat sushi in every city we travel to. East coast, West coast, South Pacific, and we were blown away by the quality of the fish at JaBistro....More
One of my favorite restaurant. I been there very often with my husband for lunch. The omakase (chef choise) is AMAZING, press sushi also delicious. Beautiful space. We love japanese food, I hight recommend this restaurant for Japanese lovers.
I have been to this restaurants and always enjoyed it. This time was different. The place was busy and service seemed disorganized. We asked for cold sushi and also the hot torched one.

In Toronto for work and tried JaBistro for dinner as couple. The entire staff appears to be authentic Japanese and are gracious and attentive. The sashimi was top notch and otoro and chutoro were comparable to quality seen in top restaurants in Japan. Nigiri rice...More
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of
vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
