We arrived around 6 o'clock and ordered soup and dim sum. We got dim sum after 10 minutes, but soup didn't arrive after 45 minutes. tired of waiting, we attempted to leave, but they wanted to charge us full buffet price, threatening to call police if we don't pay. At the end, we paid $44 dollars for 4 pieces of... More

This is Dim sum place. We come here twice a month. It's a medium size restaurant in my opinion. The food is good and warm when it arrived unlike others bigger dim sum restaurants. But it is a fast pace restaurants and a bit noisy if you don't mind! The price is considered ok, not cheap compared to other areas... More

We stopped by Rosewood for lunch and had a delicious meal of steamed BBQ pork buns, steamed vegetable dumplings (exquisitely flavored!), veggie spring rolls, and my personal favorite: Shanghai-style soup dumplings with pork filling. They were tiny--just enough for a mouthful, which is just the way I think they should be. I wish I had gotten three orders of them!... More

There was a time that the only place to find good dim sum around here was downtown Toronto - these days I usually stick to Richmond Hill and am rarely disappointed. Disappointing is the word for the quite ordinary fare on offer at this place though. As two couples who enjoy good dim sum we tried most of the usual... More

When we visited Rosewood before it closed down for renovations, we had an upstairs table with a cool view of downstairs and Dundas Street. What surprised us were two things: 1. We ordered a dish with fish fillets that actually had bones; and 2. We had to help the owner communicate in French with two francophone customers. However, the food... More

Where do I start? According to the sign it says that they opened today (January 28th, 2017) however the reviews say otherwise. We were open to this because a) most customers here were not Caucasian, b) there was no line (that should have been a dead giveaway, especially during Chinese New Year) and c) it looked clean and newly renovated.... My husband would consider himself a Dim Sum aficionado. Rosewood was a new place for us to try. The dim sum was some of the freshest tasting we have had and all dishes we ordered were delicious. The ambiance of the restaurant could use some improvement. The harsh white CFL bulbs lighting the restaurant was a poor choice for lighting... More

We came in new to the Rose Wood looking for all day Dim Sum. Unless you really know your Dim Sum menus, you could easily order more than you are hoping for. This was the case for us. After being served a steaming pot of jasmine tea, Eric took our order sheet. He circled back to us at least two... More

Two level dining and always very busy, full to bursting. Noise level can be quite high, especially when tables are being cleared. Very personable, friendly host and warm welcome from other staff members. No carts but all the usual dim sum choices plus a few larger items are presented on a laminated sheet with pictures. The host is happy to... More

Everything we had was awesome, there was just the three of us and we ordered 7 different items to share and we were full! ( and the Bill was just short $40) You get hot tea when you sit and check off a menu paper with what you want ( go to their website for pictures of the menu and... More
