I would expect more from a fixed price ($95) menu on Christmas Eve than we got here. 3 brineless oysters (isn't 6 the norm?)...ersatz lobster newburg...tasteless desserts obviously prepared days in advance...wine & tip took the tab to over $425! Beyond that, service that clearly...More

I tried everywhere in the Durham Region to secure a dining place for my family for Christmas dinner. My brother was in from the west and as he had been to the Boulud previously, he recommended this particular restaurant. Wow - stepped into a luxurious...More

First time visit after hearing the raves - thought a hotel restaurant could not exceed expectations. Boulud does, in spades. Ambiance, service, food quality and value for the dollar is bar none. Service and attention to detail makes you forget you are dropping $6CDN per...More

All the staff knew it was noted on the reservation that it was our anniversary. Very thoughtful. Seating is tight even though the venue doesn't hurt for space. Halibut was slightly over cooked and dry. Service attentive.

If you get a very expensive bottle of wine such as Dom Perignon or Ace of Spades, then the total may come to around $860

Sorry not to be able to help, but perhaps the hotel might be able to help. Or the MRT people. Good luck. Wishing the best.

Located in the flagship Four Seasons Hotel Toronto, Café Boulud, by Chef Daniel Boulud, serves a soulful menu deeply rooted in French tradition, set in the style of a lively French brasserie, and inspired by Chef Daniel's family's meals in Lyon. The kitchen boasts a gleaming rotisserie-the only one of its kind in downtown Toronto-with both vertical and horizontal spits allowing for simultaneous cooking of meat, poultry, fish and vegetables. The menu features the best French classics, as well as unexpected items inspired by Chef Daniel's curiosity and love for travel. The playfully retro-modern restaurant designed by Martin Brudnizki, located in the iconic Yorkville neighborhood, includes a dining counter and private dining room for up to eight guests. The dining room is warm and comfortable, defined by a wraparound bar and intimate, low-banquette seating.
