Took lunch here on a weekday. Hostess excellent. The young server nice enough but a bit unpolished. The room is airy and comfortable. The food is uneven. Lobster salad for about $30 was underwhelming in its lobsterness. Two little bits of claw meat hidden under a mess of wet greens. Sent it back because 'there must be some mistake'. Told... More

Hands down one of the most consistent and best restaurants in Toronto. It's sad they don't have the duck egg anymore =(

French bistrot with Four Seasons touch and great service. The roasted chicken is delicious, good for sharing. Great drinks coming for the stylish bar

Really nice spacious area, liked the set up & decor. Very attentive yet not overbearing service. Started with the calamari, anchovy on toast and foie gras to start. Personally I like the seared kind but this was the patè which was fine. I had the rotisserie chicken - potatoes were so melt in your mouth good. My husband had the... More

We visited this restaurant when it first opened. The renovation prompted a revisit. We were bit disappointed. The fare is informal and very tasty. All of our mains snd appetizers were perfect and well presented. The wait staff is knowledgeable and capable. Wine list is limited but lots of easy drinkers. Informal menu. Lots to chose from. Highly recommended.

We did brunch before we flew out of Toronto. Make sure you have a reservation! Menu has two and three course offerings - starter, main and dessert at a fixed price. Juice and coffee/tea included in price. Starters are very good size - we enjoyed the berry terrine and a Canadian cheese plate (5 cheeses plus condiments). For mains we... More

Delicious food and drinks! We did not have a reservation and they found a spot for us right away on a Friday night. Brunch was delicious as well.

We stayed at the hotel for nearly one week and had breakfast here every day but also tried the restaurant for dinner one night. The best things about this place is the staff who are super-friendly and helpful. The food is neither better or worse than expected and rather pricey. As usually at Four Seasons' restaurants portions are small. The... More

Had dinner here for my Wife and I's Wedding Anniversary. Was a great meal. Service was great, and they were very welcoming. They acknowledged that it was our Anniversary more than once. The food was really, really good. Loved the ambiance & decor of the restaurant as well. "Energetic" but not too noisy. I found the prices to be a... More

Description
Located in the flagship Four Seasons Hotel Toronto, Café Boulud, by Chef Daniel Boulud, serves a soulful menu deeply rooted in French tradition, set in the style of a lively French brasserie, and inspired by Chef Daniel's family's meals in Lyon. The kitchen boasts a gleaming rotisserie-the only one of its kind in downtown Toronto-with both vertical and horizontal spits allowing for simultaneous cooking of meat, poultry, fish and vegetables. The menu features the best French classics, as well as unexpected items inspired by Chef Daniel's curiosity and love for travel. The playfully retro-modern restaurant designed by Martin Brudnizki, located in the iconic Yorkville neighborhood, includes a dining counter and private dining room for up to eight guests. The dining room is warm and comfortable, defined by a wraparound bar and intimate, low-banquette seating.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
