Limited menu items made with fresh and local items. I had a prix fixe for $28. Squash soup was a great start. Then an wonderful shrimp... More

So my friends and I had dinner here in late March. I was surprised by this place. It's a non flashy, "didn't know this place existed" place but when you have discovered..wow! They've been open for five years!!! The food is freshly cooked and on point flavor wise. I had a prix fixe for $28. Had the calamari which was... More

Run don’t walk to Eat Fresh Be Healthy, 185 Dundas Street West, in the heart of an ever changing “Chinatown”, which seems more like “Japan”- and “Koreatown” now. This is Summerlicious/Winterlicious every day of the year. Three-course lunch for $20, dinner for $25. Quality and quantity are amazing. We had a gorgeous roasted butternut squash soup, and a double-cut pork... More

Came here for dinner before seeing a show. It was my second time here and both dinners were fresh and delicious. This time we had the spicy drumsticks and calamari to start. Then we had the pork chop and seafood stew. AMAZING! I cannot believe the quality of the food for a fixed price of $25. Everyone must try this... More

Food was great! Ambience - too dark, needs work... also no tea or coffee? It's worth it just for the food!

I had the $25 prix fixe dinner menu. I ordered the calamari, salmon, and ice-cream. The calamari was extremely well-cooked. Super crunchy just the way I like it. The salmon, the main dish, was delicious! It was pan-fried I believe with a lot of seasoning. I don't know what they put on it but it was tasty! Tons of flavour... More

The quality of food, portion size, service, cost and presentation is next to none. Only draw back no liquor licence. Very quaint, with fresh food prepared right in front of you. You can watch as they create your meal from start to finish. Four of us looking for a meal saw a review on line that said it was great... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
