I have wanted to try Coras for a while, so finally came for breakfast. The menu had many breakfast items to choose from, and were reasonably priced. The quality of the food I would say was average, but their servings were big. I had their classic breakfast, the potato wedges and turkey sausage tasted bland, and overall the meal lacked... More

We were looking around for a few days looking for a pancake cafe, and it was right across the street. Pancakes were as expected very good, maple syrup decicious.

O what a super little place this is. Loads to choose from. More than plenty to eat. As many cups of coffee you can get down you and some lovely, happy, smiley staff. Myrthin was our lovely server. 6.30am and she was bright and a joy.

I'd never had a breakfast poutine before, and it blew my mind! Great selection of both classic and innovative breakfast foods, highly recommend!

Went for a breakfast there - it's my 3rd time there. The serve was excellent. I ordered a breakfast with two over-medium eggs, bacons, potatoes, fruits, two pieces of blueberry pancakes, brown toasts; and a coffee. My friend had another breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, potatoes, fruits, pancake, brown toast; and a tea. The servers were very good at... More

Pay for quality. The pancakes were excellent and best breakfast potatoes of any breakfast place. Usually do not eat the potatoes at other competitors place but the ones here are obviously made fresh per person. Went to another breakfast place the day before and was very disappointed. Cora's will not disappoint. This location was very clean and had the green... More

Basic breakfast was not bad but not good. Not to the standard we have experienced at other Cora's. Service was excellent but the food was mediocre, especially for the price (seemed expensive even for downtown Toronto).

Went to Cora's for a breakfast meeting which was first visit. The staff were very friendly and service was great. The breakfast itself was excellent.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
