Might be a bit trendy, but great great coffee, only thing why no brown sugar. Espresso was as close to perfection as you can find

Visited today, and was not impressed with either the coffee or baristas... The lattes were mediocre at best, and the cafe was a mess and in need of a through cleaning. To top it off the baristas were busy with the pretentious regulars that they were chummy with, and took forever to make a latte. Even serving someone that arrived... More

We spent an hour here killing some time in east Toronto. We enjoyed a couple of lattes. I was worried about the new location. Its newness loses some of the original homey charm. I think this will pass with use and patina.

This cafe has good big tables to use your laptop and study with wifi. Unfortunately it's super busy and they have very loud music and no outlets.

Lovely old historic building with great period features like the tin ceiling. The coffee was excellent, see why it gets a mention in the DK Top Ten Guide. Very nice staff and tasty bits to eat with it.

A pretty trendy and hipster type of coffee shop with large open spaces with a slight pretentious vibe. It looked interesting enough to warrant a visit but that was a regrettable decision as this place serves some pretty terrible espresso! Stay away from their 'punchbuggy' espresso - it's absolutely disgusting and not fit for consumption! Will not be coming back!!

The coffee is not properly made. It is far to bitter and those are for coming from Italian standards. I brought a group of Italian friends, I mean right from Italy and they literally threw out the espresso, it was not drinkable. If it is diluted with milk and froth it becomes ok. The food is not bad but expensive... More

Decided to try it out with my girlfriend. She got a latte and I got an espresso. When we were ready to leave she asked why I hadn't finish and I told her this has to be the worst espresso I have ever had. She took a sip, spit it out, and agreed. If you want an espresso that tastes... More

One of those trendy urban cafés with vaulted ceilings and an amazing array of creative muffins, squares, and other goodies. The real standout is the coffee- it's absolutely delicious!

Place definitely has a laid-back writer kind of feel to it, since it was mostly filled with young urbanites on their Mac laptops at the cool little work tables. Love the fact that all the coffees are made in traditional methods and they give all the options: French press, pour over, etc. Espresso macchiato had excellent flavour but could have... More
