Little India dump

Have been to this place several times in the past. But this afternoon, we found it muggy with no fans and horribly hot. The washrooms were pathetic as an earlier had observed. The food was oily and had no taste. Will not go back to this place.

This place is living off its past reputation of excellent food and service. The changed management has no clue whatsoever about food and service. No concept of service, indifferent service staff and the food is absolutely miserable. Avoid under any circumstances, boiled cardboard would be more edible ...........

We had no choice at 11 PM so we went to this place and it was a disaster. Washroom does not have a seat and wash basin was a mess. The waiter took 25 mins to attend to us. Food is served in disposable plates and plastic spoons and forks. The only good thing is the portions they give is... More

We have been to this place many times. We keep going there because the food is good, the place is moderately clean (you can have a washroom with diaper changing station) and they are open till midnight. The restaurant serves Pakistani food.

I visited the establishment while visiting the Pakistani area with some friends. My home town has hundreds of Indian/Pakistani restaurants and I was looking forward to a good meal as it was recommended by a proprietor of a local business. We should have known better just looking at the outside of the building. It looked like it was in a... More

Staying in East End

Neighborhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
