I had the opportunity to enjoy dinner with friends for Summerlicious. This restaurant is a top notch restaurant worth checking out. I had fish. My friends had the steak. The fish was fabulous and I tried my girlfriends steak which I can highly recommend. For desert I had the sugar pie. We ordered capicinno which they also serve the caffeine... More

Stopped by one night for a drink and some fresh oysters which turned into more oysters and more drinks. Ambience inside the restaurant is not what you would expect from the outside. It is very calming and quite modern. Staff is very attentive. There oysters were unbelievably fresh. And their specialty drinks were quite tasty. Prices were quite reasonable. Highly... More

Picked this place for my spouses' birthday. Menu looked promising with a mix of seafood and land fare. Reservations were handled professionally and by the time we got there our table was ready to go. Service was excellent and we were well taken care off. The Mrs. had the seafood tower and thoroughly enjoyed it. Will definitely come back soon!

We were glad our Hotel Concierge recommended The Shore Club for us to dine. We loved our dinner here. The menu was extensive, the food delicious and the service from Monty, was exceptional. The decor / setting here in not intimate, more of a corporate feel, but comfortable and well spaced. Some reviews commented that its a little pricey! Maybe... More

My wife and I went with some friends for dinner at The Shore Club before going to a Blue Jays game. I had the Wedge Salad and Blackened White Fish. The food was excellent as was the service. We also split a very nice bottle of Chilean Wine. The food and wine selection is very good.

A very nice restaurant , Slightly pricey, but the food was very good, so to was the wine list, some very good wine to be drunk, but premium prices, Our Waiter was very efficient, and attentive, but a little pretentious , The Restaurant was recommended to us , and although fully booked, our concierge at the Delta Hotel got us in... Classy serving staff and decor, mainstream higher-end cuisine well-executed with no surprises is what you will find here. Everything is well done, and you won't go wrong bringing a client here. The menu is seafood-heavy, but there are decent enough other choices on the menu. Prices are a little on the higher side, matching the experience but can fit within... More

This restaurant has never disappointed. The special of the day is always mouth watering. The staff is attentive. The ambience is romantic but quite suitable for the business crowd during the day. Happy hours are very packed with a great crowd.

This place was not busy for lunch but the quality of the oysters and the Cobb salad were fantastic. Take the server's recommendation when ordering, they know what they're talking about.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
