We loved the menu at this quaint little restaurant. The mood is just right, and the servers are eloquent and attentive. We were able to have a nice comfortable meal as the sun went down, next to tall glass windows, in a cozy setting.

Expected fantastic service and outstanding meals based on the reviews, but unfortunately received a mixed bag. We ordered a bottle of white and a bottle of red wine along with the seafood tower and a few dozen oysters. They were sold out of our red wine and waiter recommended a wine he felt was similar, which turned out to be... More

The seafood tower is diverse and quite good. I liked the oysters, king crab, shrimp, and ceviche. The lobster didn't have any taste though. The salmon Wellington with spinach and papaya is an interesting pairing, and the salmon isn't overcooked . The filet mignon comes all by itself on the plate but it tastes good. Desserts are also nice, we... More

The server was attentive but not intrusive, dinner was superb. We began with the carrot ginger soup, beet salad and oysters! I must say, the carrot ginger soup is the best I've had in the GTA. We enjoyed the quiet ambiance despite it being a bustling Saturday evening in downtown.

First time at Shore Club and it was amazing in every sense. Our waiter, Michael, was very knowledgeable and attentive. The seafood was cooked to perfection and so tasty. Ambiance was quiet which was perfect to hold a conversation. From start to finish, everything was just perfect. Thank you!

Really enjoyed our business lunch at Shore Club this week. Service was attentive and not intrusive. Food was delivered quickly. Prime rib sandwich was excellent as was the Seafood Chowder. Nice varied lunch menu.

We arrived and where seated promptly. Ordered the Beef Wellington at 0850hrs, told last one just sold, disappointed. Ordered the chicken breast special, however asked for straight forward mash as don't do fish, as other mash had crab mixed in. We then waited nearly 45minutes before asking for our meal and was then told the Chef had to make the... More

I visited the Shore Club for the first time with a small group of friends. There were 4 of us in total and were seated in the lounge. We started the evening with the $1 oysters and $2 prawn and their drink specials. The prices were great and the food quality was excellent. Prawn were large and perfectly cooked, oysters... More

After having a few drinks with friends at the Ritz, we headed next door to feed our seafood craving. They served the most delicious Manhattan and the seafood was to die for. As we were full from the tower, my partner and I ordered the shrimp and seafood entree to share. There was much too much sauce on it. The... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
