Bun: Average, when grilled definitely enhances the taste. Burger: Decent, nothing special Toppings: Are the best part and where I reckon the hype for this place stems from. Great options of toppings for burger lovers. Price: Overrated and expensive for burger and fries.

While I understand that Five Guys is technically a chain, with all the talk I've been hearing about this place, I was expecting something to really wow me. Compared to other places like Hero Burger, their burgers are definitely better. But in all honesty, it...More

A great choice if you're looking for a quick bit to eat. Your order is taken then cooked fresh for you & you wait for your number to be called. The fries are cooked in peanut oil & are absolutely delicious (the portions are huge...More

I love fresh cut fries and you certainly receive a wonderful paper bag full of fries. The menu is burgers and dogs but cooked to perfection with tasty condiments.Fifty pound bags of spuds from PEI greet you as you enter!!

Staff were efficient and friendly. Burgers and fries top notch. Fries were the stars. Well cooked and seasoned. Plentiful. Disappointed no gravy on menu. Will return.

I had no idea what to expect when my partner insisted we go to Five Guys. Despite her saying great things about it I just assumed it was another average fast food chain serving cheap fatty burgers. I was pleasantly surprised when I enjoyed one...More

On my first visit to a burger place I always get a plain hamburger with toppings. I want to taste the meat, their regular burger comes with two slim patties. The burgers cook more complete this way. The patties are simple but tasty with diced...More

A nice / better alternative to the hamburger chains. Tastier burgers. Free toppings (...and peanuts!). Hamburgers and hotdogs only. Great drop-by location on Yonge St - downtown.

Having heard all the hype about this new burger chain, finally went to try it last night at the Yonge Street location. The place was busy, being a Friday night. Most tables were occupied and line ups to order, which moved fast. However, had to...More

Description
I have read great reviews for Five Guys Burgers but I have to say in my opinion their burgers are disgusting. Before the lynch mob tears down my front door, here is what I tasted there:I got their regular burger with lettuce, tomato and grilled onions, with a dash of mustard. I saw the guy "grilling" burger on a pan and pushing down on it with all his weight. The burger arrived with two patties. I hate that, because of all the grease the burgers keep in slipping out of the buns. It was disgustingly greasy, wet and all mushed up, buns were wet from all the grease and the burger was oozing grease all over to the other side of my fingers. Have I complained about the grease enough? The fries were ok but again they were overly greasy. The burger tasted like overly fatty low quality steak from a roadside diner in the middle of nowhere, and it had burnt fat smell. After two bites I threw away the entire thing, fries and all. That thing cost me almost 14 dollars and the only thing I enjoyed was the drink because it washed away the taste of Five Guys burger.
