I bought the same food I had bought from this location not even a month ago and realized the price menu had increased more than 20%. I was heard that the owner had become a millionaire by running those restaurant but I didn't know until today people like me are the reason he is getting rich and rich. Pretty much... More

I ordered ground beef kebab and a stew for myself and my family for dinner. The taste was funny. The day after all of us got sick. Food poisoning. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Food - 4.5/5 The food is generally excellent. I have heard a few bad stories where people had undercooked meat, hair in the food, etc. But this hasn't really ever happened to me, and I've been a repeat customer about once every 2-3 weeks for approximately 2 years now. Make sure you ask for "tadeeg" -- if they have some,... More

This was a go-to place for me whenever I was working in the area. However, the quality and consistency of the food dropped dramatically over time. My last visit there was when I was buying 5 meals for me and my co-workers... the rice was SALTY BEYOND recognition (as if I was eating salt), the meat was undercooked and was... More

So I was there couple of years back. We got Koubide Kabab, and it smelled very wrong but tasted even worse, it was mostly lamb fat and garbage meat. So I went to the counter to tell them that and I was thinking they will be very apologetic (come on, it's Canada, not a barbaric society) but instead the Cashier... More

BEWARE! I have gotten violently ill from being served raw/undercooked chicken at Taftan. My friend and I ordered 2 orders of the chicken breast kebab dinner (number 6 on the menu) in the evening on Sunday, May 11, 2014. I was almost done eating my dinner before I realized I had ingested a plate full of raw chicken. When I... More

So, the food is very good but it would be nice if you had the customer service to match that. Show of hands...who's heard of a store where they punch your order in and refuse to change or cancel it once they do. I have! IT'S THIS JOINT!! I was pushed into buying a more expensive dish today because I... More

This place is a hole in the wall and a fast food place. The service is quick, food is cheap but I question the sanitary aspect of it. There is a sign outside of the restaurant posted by Ontario Ministry of Health giving it only a "Conditional Pass" during their last inspection due to health hazards. This is indicative of... More
