The moment I walked outside and saw the name Volos, I ran inside. It was very nostalgic to walk in and feel I'm in Greece again (home ). Everyone was very polite and the food, wine and enviroment was my visit to Greece. The music was also a reminder about the beauties of Greece.

What an amazing find via Summerlicious. A tad on the expensive side but delicious! While I'm an adventurous eater, I'm not a fan of Octopus but since it's the house specialty, I gave it a try. Absolutely divine!!!

First off, I have a lot of family in Volos, so I was looking forward to getting a few things that I have trouble getting at regular Greek restaurants: namely the tsipouro. Served chilled and straight up...perfect! But...our waiter (who took a long time to introduce himself) left us our menus and didn't show up for quite awhile. The assistant... More

Good food however the service was average - long time to be served and without customer focus. Still place worth visiting if someone likes Mediterranean cousins especially Greek and Turkish.

One of the best restaurants and cuisine experienced. Ask for David to be your waiter and have Eddy spin up his signature "wake me up" espresso martini. Highlight is the unbelievably tender octopus with feta. Ask David to add strawberries, lemon, balsamic and some chili pepper for a twist. Best atmosphere, best service, best smiles from the minute you walk... More

But then magic happen, best service ever when we received our table. We had Grilled octopus for entree Lobster and Halibut as main Baklavas for dessert Plus an amazing Greek wine All... More

On one of my trips to Toronto I had planned to rake in a Greek restaurant on the Danforth. However I had seen this spot a number of times walking by and recently looked at the reviews and had a friend tell me she heard good things about it so we decided to check it out. Great idea as the... More

Visited here for lunch. It was a great place to relax in between the hectic site seeing of the city. I really enjoyed the food here, especially the dolmades and the stuffed Cornish hen. Lovely ambiance and great service. The location is perfect, easy to get to.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
