Walked in to shelter from a snowstorm. Really enjoyed sitting at the bar and chatting with the incredible staff here. Went in for drinks, ended up having dinner. Loved the elk sliders👊🙌

Nothing gastronomically exciting, but everything is well prepared with great ingredients. Steak tartare is one of the best and elk sliders are also taste worthy. Rotisserie chicken is very moist and fragrant, but the sauce is overpowering and slightly salty. Sticky ribs are smokey, moist and flavourful, with a sauce that again might be overpowering. Gnocchi is good, but not... More

I found about Union through Monocle magazine, a source which always comes through for me. The food and wine was just marvelous as was the knowledgeable and helpful staff. The wine list featured some Ontario winemakers, and we agreed Pearl Morissette's Chardonnay would be a regular at our table if we lived in these parts. The open-faced elk sliders with... More

Did we have to wait? Yes. Was it worth it? Absolutely! Delicious! My son and his family eat here a lot and recommended just about everything on the menu. Impossible to choose a bad dish. Even though it was really crowded the servers kept their cool and delivered with a smile. I would definitely go back.

I recommend making reservations. We started with steak tartare and scallops. The portions were huge - really enjoyed. We ordered the ribs, gnocchi and mackerel - again massive portions. The gnocchi was pretty spicy but still tolerable. For dessert we had the creme brulee and it was more of a melted ice cream consistency than custard. Overall, food was good.... More

Warm welcome! Delicious food: yummy, tender mussels with crispy fries, fantastic brunch-style egg dishes, and a burger that my dad loved.

We were early for our 6 pm reservation so we had a beer at the bar since they do not serve food until six. We had told the host that we had tickets for the nearby theatre at 7:30. We were assured there would not be a problem and there was not. We were seated immediately at 6 and given... More

We had brunch at Union on Saturday..we just happened to be walking by as the were opening and there were people already outside waiting for it to open so we figured we would check it out. The Ceaser was DELICIOUS! Highly recommend. The food was really tasty, fresh, and large portions. Great design as well. Definitely recommend! We will be... More

This restaurant is always full and busy, so we decided to come for lunch to try it out. Service was very cold and unfriendly, we have to seat ourselves at the table. We ordered the tomatoes plate, the steak tartare and the goat cheese salad. The tomatoes were not fresh at all, the vinegar tasted like water, potatoes were fatty... More
