We are very fussy and this place delivers - professional and friendly staff!! Huge portions too! The outdoor seating is great for hot sunny days (it's shaded).

My daughter and I made reservations and came to this restaurant before a concert. We sat with dirty dinner plates for at least 10 minutes and our server even offered her an iced tea but missed that we were finished. She walked by 4 times. The manager came by and asked how out meal was but still left us with... More

E11even is a nice sports bar that serves tapas style food. Nice place to go for a glass of wine or beer end of day. The patio is rather busy when sunny and you are in the midst of rush hour traffic heading for the Gardiner. Do check out their washroom which is equipped with cool toilets (Japanese style Koko... We were at a Conference Party in the Air Canada Centre and when we exit around 11 pm we found this place just one block ahead. Great service, great drinks, we ate some shrimps and th spincah and artichocke dip both were fabulous. A little bit expensive, but it was a great experience.

I recently visited this restaurant during a short trip to Toronto. This restaurant was right by my hotel. It is a bit expensive but I think that is to be expected in downtown Toronto. The food servings were huge, do we ended up skipping a meal. We were so full we only needed a snack for supper. We had the... More

This place has a good atmosphere, Friendly service and the food was correct. I can advise crabcake as appetizer. The salades are huge. We are not able to finish them. Prices are little high but not out of range. No specific menu for kids.

We had been talking about going to E11even for some time as it is in our neighbourhood but were hesitant based on some of not so great reviews. So glad we decided to try it last week. It was a beautiful but extremely hot afternoon and their patio was shaded and looked inviting. Although it was fairly crowded, the service... More

Drinks at the bar. $12.50 plus tax and tip for a Creemore for "23 Oz"...Next door at Real Sports is $8.75 plus tax and tip for 20 Oz. According to my math that's ~25% overpriced. I have come to this restaurant many times in the past as I work across the street but the price changes must have occurred between... More

This place has a brilliant atmosphere. We ate outside which was really nice. The food is great I recommend the Mapleleaf burger. Reasonably priced for this part of town. Definitely advise dropping in if you want steak or a burger.

Warm hospitality, exceptional cuisine and unparalleled service - these are the hallmarks of a great dining experience and that's what the team at e11even promises to our guests. Located at the corner of York and Bremner, e11even features a menu of updated North American classics. Favourites such as crab cakes, jumbo shrimp cocktails, roast chicken, fresh fish and dry-aged steaks are complemented by classic sides like grilled asparagus, truffled parmesan fries and truffled mac and cheese. Nostalgic desserts complete the experience and include such favourites as sticky toffee pudding and warm nut chocolate brownie. With plush leather banquettes, wooden table tops, and antique mirrors, e11even offers a modern, yet comfortable Rockwell-inspired design. A communal table made from excavated hemlock timbers in the bar area, is the perfect place to gather with friends while sampling some of our specialty cocktails.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
